Take a moment to settle in,
Not into stillness,
Just into presence.
If there's a candle nearby,
You may light it now,
But if not,
Just imagine one.
A small and steady flame.
Nothing dramatic.
Nothing demanding.
You are not here to change anything.
You are here to just notice.
And noticing.
Is an act of love.
There is nothing you need to achieve in this moment,
No version of you to reach.
No feeling that you're supposed to have.
Just think of this as sitting across from someone you truly,
Deeply care about.
Someone tired.
Someone who's been holding quite a lot.
He wouldn't interrogate them,
No.
You couldn't rush them.
You would watch their face in the soft light and simply.
.
.
Pay attention.
And let that someone.
So let's bring your awareness gently to your body.
Not to scan for problems,
Not to assess,
But just to notice where you are being held.
You Notice the weight of your body and where it meets the surface beneath you.
The way gravity keeps you company and the way you don't have to earn its support.
If you feel any tension somewhere,
See if you can become curious.
Instead of critical.
Not why are you like this but oh You're here.
Like discovering a love letter folded in a pocket you forgot about.
If an emotion is present,
Let it stay.
You don't need to understand it,
You don't need to question it,
And you don't need to make it.
Away.
Curiosity sounds like,
How long have you been with me?
What do you need right now?
What happens if I don't try to fix you?
Let the body answer in sensations,
Warmth,
Tightness,
Movement,
Or even stillness.
You This is not data to analyze.
This is just conversation.
Imagine you are being watched by somebody who adores you quietly,
Not intensely or possessively.
But tenderly.
They notice the way you breathe when you're safe.
The way your shoulders soften when no one is asking anything of you and the way your body carries stories.
Without words.
Let yourself be seen.
Without being evaluated.
That,
My friend.
Is devotion.
And if your mind wanders,
That's not failure.
And that's the body saying.
I'm still learning how to trust attention.
Just gently return like reaching for a familiar hand.
You are not late,
And you are not doing this wrong.
You are simply staying.
I invite you to write after this meditation.
And let your pen be an extension of this curiosity.
Write like you are describing someone you love.
No corrections,
No judgment,
Just awe and wonder.
And if you've already written and journaled,
Let this be the moment.
You settle what you've uncovered.
Nothing needs to be resolved.
Place a hand somewhere on your body,
Wherever feels natural,
And silently say to yourself now.
I see you.
I am not leaving.
I see you.
I'm listening.
I am not leaving.
The candle does not ask the flame to burn any differently.
It simply holds the space for the light.
And please.
Please carry this with you.
Curiosity is not weakness.
It is devotion without demand.
Still yours.
Still here.
And whenever you are ready.
To connect back with the world.
You may open your eyes.
