This is meditation to tune in to the sensations of the body and feel the sensations of a gravity of the space around us.
Just take a moment to find a comfortable seat with your arms resting on the knees,
Palms facing up.
Start to feel your spine lengthen towards the ceiling.
Feel your hips getting heavier,
Nestling into the nest underneath you.
Start to notice your breath just as it naturally is right now.
I'm following the inhale and following the exhale.
Starting to walk alongside,
Giving your attention,
Getting curious.
I'm getting curious about this wave that travels up to the chest,
Following the same motion,
Same wave here.
On the next inhale,
Feel the space opening up in your chest,
In your heart.
Feeling all the spaciousness that's inside of you.
Start to notice the heartbeat.
Starting to feel the sensation of gravity,
Of some weight anchoring you down,
Holding you in this place.
The next inhale,
See if you can allow your spine to lengthen.
On the exhale,
Relax the weight down into the earth with the breath,
Feeling more fully grounded right where you are.
Starting to feel space in front of your body,
As if spilling your awareness out to the outskirts of the outer edge of you,
Of your skin.
Perhaps feeling any sensations there,
Coolness,
Hotness,
Sensation of air,
Space.
Becoming aware of the right side of the body,
All the space around this side.
Then spilling your awareness on the out back of your body,
The back of your head,
Neck,
Entire back.
Bringing it to the other side,
Left side.
Noticing how your skin responds when you pull your attention towards it.
Feeling the support right underneath you,
Holding you up,
The bottom of you.
Noticing all the space all around you,
Above you,
Below you.
Feeling all the points that meet the outer world with your world.
Feeling the container,
The vessel,
The temple of the body.
Grounding back into the sensation of gravity.
Feel the pull,
Feel energy keeping your spine up,
The crown lifting.
Feel the belly rise and fall,
The chest,
The heart.
Feel the space inside of you.
Remember you are space,
You are stillness,
You are awareness itself.
Bringing the tongue,
Pressing it upon the roof of the mouth,
Signaling the slowing down of thoughts.
Turning your inward awareness towards the center of the brain,
Slowly drawing it from the outskirts of the mind,
Pulling it towards the center of the mind.
Remembering the true nature of your being is simply enough by breathing and being.
Begin to take a deeper breath in and a relaxed breath out.
Bring the hand onto the belly,
Other hand on the heart.
A remembrance of always coming back to your center,
To the aliveness,
The stillness that's always here.
Feeling the love,
The support,
The embrace of your hands on your body.
Allow yourself to receive your own power.
