Welcome,

Sage individual.

In this audio meditation,

We will utilize the ancient technique of anapanasati,

Mindfulness of breathing,

And delve into reflections on viveka and varakya.

Find a comfortable,

Quiet place where you can sit on any surface,

Preferably semi-hard or hard.

It could be a chair,

Or you can sit in a half-lotus or lotus position.

Allow yourself to set aside all worries and thoughts at this moment and immerse yourself in the world of your inner tranquility.

Close your eyes and let us embark on a journey into the realm of mindful breathing.

Breath is the key to being present in the moment.

Feel how the air enters through your nostrils and fills your body with fresh energy.

Truly feel how the breath passes through your nostrils.

Each inhale is an opportunity to breathe in new life,

And each exhale is a chance to release old burdens and negative thoughts.

Feel how the air enters through your nostrils and fills your body with fresh energy.

Truly feel how the breath passes through your nostrils.

Which nostril does the air pass through?

The right one,

Or the left,

Or both simultaneously?

Which nostril does the air pass through?

The right one,

Or the left,

Or both simultaneously?

Let's explore the concept of attachment and the reasons it arises.

Each of us,

As we begin our life's path,

Is burdened with at least 80% of negative karma.

It's our load to carry,

Our journey to navigate,

Our narrative to unfold.

The quest for happiness can ironically lead to distress.

We all strive for joy,

Yet we must question our definition of happiness.

The ego is a part of us that yearns for the fulfillment of its desires and expectations.

The quest for happiness is a guarantee of suffering.

Who is in need of this happiness?

It is sought by the ego,

Ahamkara.

Yet when we start to practice the reduction of egoism,

We liberate ourselves from the shackles of expectations.

In the absence of external expectations,

There is no room for disappointment.

We learn to accept the world as it presents itself.

The ego,

The untamed mind,

Drives us to chase fleeting pleasures.

For instance,

There are days when you resist practicing yoga,

Complaining of pain in your hand,

Leg or stomach.

You think,

I don't need all this,

I'd rather enjoy some coffee,

Beer or a cigarette.

But what do these choices ultimately lead to?

And how rewarding it feels to experience the aftermath of diligent effort.

During this audio meditation,

In addition to contemplation,

Make an effort to stay conscious of your breathing.

As you draw breath in,

Acknowledge,

Inhaling,

And as you release it,

Note,

Exhaling.

Maintain this awareness of your breath for the duration of the meditation.

Settle in and allow your breath to draw you deeper within.

We are all like leaves that have fallen into the water,

Each carried by the current.

As we float downstream,

We occasionally brush against other leaves.

Some we travel with for a long stretch,

Moving together through calm waters and turbulent rapids.

Others we touch only briefly,

Before the flow of the river sends us in different directions.

The knowledge of vairagya,

Or non-attachment,

Teaches us to appreciate the beauty and companionship of the leaves we encounter without clinging to them.

Just as the river inevitably leads each leaf to part ways,

So too does life's journey.

We can enjoy the moments we share,

Learn from our interactions,

And grow from our connections.

But we must also be prepared to let go,

Understanding that every leaf has its own path to follow,

Its own journey to complete.

By accepting vairagya,

We acknowledge the impermanence of these encounters and the importance of going with the flow of life.

We value time spent with other people,

But remain calm when the river of life naturally separates us,

Believing in the greater journey that lies ahead for us all.

The lack of inner liberty creates dependency and attachment,

Leading to suffering.

We often grasp at external things to fill an internal void,

But this is merely a temporary fix.

Turning to God,

However,

Offers genuine comfort and serenity.

God is the origin of all,

And it is through this divine connection that we can experience authentic joy.

In this life,

Everything is God's.

What we arrive with,

We will also depart with.

Our possessions are merely borrowed.

During meditation,

Give yourself the chance to detach from self-centered desires.

Allow yourself to understand that real happiness isn't located in external objects,

But is achieved through inner peace and self-realization.

As stated in the Bhagavad Gita,

People search for joy in the material realm,

Yet it is attained only through inner peace and self-realization.

When you inhale,

Be aware,

Inhaling,

And when you exhale,

Be aware,

Exhaling.

Continue to track your breath throughout the entire meditation.

Relax and let your breath guide you inward.

Each of us,

Starting our journey,

Carries at least 80% of bad karma.

It's our burden,

Our path,

Our history.

The pursuit of happiness often becomes a source of suffering.

We all want to be happy,

But the question is,

What do we understand happiness to be?

The ego,

It's a part of ourselves that craves satisfaction of its desires and expectations.

The pursuit of happiness is the pledge of suffering.

Who needs this happiness?

It is needed by the ego,

Ahamkara.

However,

When we begin to practice the absence of egoism,

We free ourselves from the chains of expectations.

Without external expectations,

There are no disappointments.

We accept the world as it is.

The ego,

Uncontrolled mind,

Makes us seek temporary pleasures.

Imagine life as a grand,

Flowing river.

We are all like leaves that have fallen into the water,

Each carried by the current.

As we float downstream,

We occasionally brush against other leaves.

Some we travel with for a long stretch,

Moving together through calm waters and turbulent rapids.

Others,

We touch only briefly,

Before the flow of the river sends us in different directions.

The knowledge of vairagya,

Or non-attachment,

Teaches us to appreciate the beauty and companionship of the leaves we encounter without clinging to them.

Just as the river inevitably leads each leaf to part ways,

So too does life's journey.

We can enjoy the moments we share,

Learn from our interactions,

And grow from our connections.

But we must also be prepared to let go,

Understanding that every leaf has its own path to follow,

Its own journey to complete.

All seek happiness in the material world,

But it comes only through inner peace and self-awareness,

As the Bhagavad Gita proclaims.

Allow yourself to feel this truth and let your breath guide you to inner peace and harmony.

Breathe calmly,

Aware of each movement of the air.

In this state,

You are in harmony with the world and yourself.

Continue to observe your breath until the end of the audio session.

Only then will you develop true tranquility and inner peace.
