I am so happy that you have decided to join me today.
In our lives,
We can experience incredibly beautiful moments.
Days with blue skies and golden sunshine.
But life also gives us many challenges.
These when the dark clouds enter the sky and make it difficult to see and feel the sun's energy.
Maybe you have decided to spend some time for yourself with me today because of some dark clouds presently in your life.
Please know how much I understand how unsettling days like this can feel.
Days like this can sometimes make us feel isolated and alone.
Know that you are not alone now.
Know that you are never alone.
These dark clouds can appear to take the sun and its energy out of our life.
But the sun always shines bright right behind these dark clouds.
The sun's energy is never diminished.
It is always present.
On days when our mood feels like a dark cloud,
It can feel like we have lost our energy,
Our inner sun.
But this is also an illusion.
Our inner sun and energy are always there.
Taking quiet moments like we are now can be helpful in allowing these dark clouds to move away.
Let us prepare together.
Find a comfortable position either sitting in a chair or lying down.
Together we will take three deep breaths.
Slow deep breaths help our inner consciousness and bodies pull away from the traps set by thoughts in our mind.
Let us begin.
Our first deep breath.
Our second deep breath.
Our third deep breath.
Now sit with me for a few minutes and let us watch the clouds and our inner sky.
There is no need to do anything else but be observant.
As ironic as it may sound,
Many times these inner clouds stay with us because we try so much to force them away.
Don't resist.
Only observe.
Only watch the negativity or stress that may be within you.
Don't judge what your mind creates.
Don't become attached to the emotions connected to these thoughts.
Remain passive.
When these types of thoughts or feelings arise,
And they will,
We will watch them float away together like clouds in the sky.
Our only action is to be passive observers of these feelings and thoughts.
Let them come and let them go.
Just like the clouds in the sky drifting by.
Know that our inner positive sun is always there.
This energy always ready to bathe us in light,
Inner calm,
And in consciousness.
Its warm embrace always just a few observant moments away.
Know that this inner sun will break through these negative clouds and shine light on who we truly are.
We are beings filled with warmth.
We are beings filled with light.
We are beings filled with peace.
Feel that energy inside of you.
Feel the power it brings to each and every one of your cells.
That beautiful energy within you is more powerful than you can imagine.
This positive energy is always present within you.
Make it a practice every day to stop and become a passive observer of your inner self.
Allow who you truly are to shine through.
Watch as the clouds pass away and allow the energy radiating from your inner self to be present.
Like anything,
The more you practice this inner observation to make this part of your daily schedule,
The less attached you will become to moments of negativity and stress that can happen within our minds.
Your present shining inner sun will become your natural mode of being.
My hope is that you will take these words from this short meditation today and make them part of who you are as you become a shining light of positivity for all the world to see.
