Welcome.
This time together is an invitation to remember something simple and radical.
Your body is the life.
Your mind is brilliant,
But it's not the one who incarnated here to make decisions.
The body is the vehicle.
Your inner authority lives in how this specific body is wired to say yes,
No,
Or not yet.
For now,
You don't have to solve any big questions.
You're not here to fix yourself or force clarity.
You're here to remember what it's like to be an innocent body living in a field of elements earth,
Water,
Fire,
Air,
Ether,
Intellect,
Pure presence.
If it's safe,
Let your body arrive.
Feel the support beneath you.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long,
Easy exhale out of your mouth.
Let's do that a couple more times.
Without strain,
Inhale and exhale.
You don't have to earn this moment.
You're already here.
Earth,
Water,
Letting the body exist.
We'll begin the earth and water,
The simplest truths your body knows.
First earth.
Notice whatever is holding you,
Chair,
Bed,
Mat,
Couch,
Ground.
Feel the weight of your bones,
The density of your muscles.
Imagine the floor is just a thin skin over the earth itself.
Ina,
Quietly holding you.
If it feels okay,
Silently say,
I allow the earth to hold more of my weight.
On your next exhale,
See if you can be 1% heavier in your body.
Now water.
If you have a sip of water or cacao nearby,
Slowly bring it to your mouth.
Smell it first.
Feel the temperature on your lips.
Take a small sip and really taste it.
Notice this body drinks,
This body feels.
This body is mostly water,
Remembering rivers,
Rain,
And tears.
You're not asking it for an answer yet.
You're just letting it be real.
Breath and lightning,
Gentle sensing.
Now we'll invite lightning,
The electric sensing of your nervous system,
To come online in a safe way.
Bring a bit more attention to your breath.
No forcing,
Just noticing.
If it feels okay,
Try a gentle pattern.
Inhale through your nose to a soft count of four.
Pause for a heartbeat.
Exhale through your mouth or nose to a count of six.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Let yourself find your own rhythm.
As you breathe,
Quietly notice,
Where is there a little spark of sensation?
Maybe a tingling in your hands,
A flutter in your belly,
A tightness in your chest.
You're not judging it.
You're just letting lightning,
The spleen,
The instinctive body,
Show you what it feels like to be here right now.
You might say,
I notice energy here,
And put a hand wherever it feels strongest.
Now I'll briefly name the nine elements as different ways your body talks to you.
You don't have to remember them all.
Just notice which one your system leans toward today.
As you listen,
Keep breathing gently.
Earth,
Smell,
Root,
The weight of your body,
The scent of a room,
The feeling of I can be here,
Or I want to leave.
Water,
Taste,
Sacral,
The flavor of a yes or a no,
Or not now,
In your gut and pelvis,
Your sexual and creative energy.
Electromagnetism and lightning,
Sensing,
Spleen,
The quick,
Quiet instinct.
This feels safe.
Something's off.
That lives in your body's radar.
Feelings,
Empathy,
Solar plexus,
The emotional wave,
The tides of feeling that rise and fall over hours or days,
Asking for your time before clarity.
Fire,
Sight,
Heart,
Ego,
The heart of desire,
Courage,
And will,
The inner flame that says,
I want to do this,
Or I can't commit to this.
Air,
Touch,
G-center,
Orientation and belonging through contact,
Skin,
And proximity.
Ether,
Hearing,
Throat,
The way truth feels when you speak it,
Sing it,
Or hear your own voice saying something out loud.
Intellect,
Discernment,
Asana,
The pattern-seeking mind that can compare,
Contrast,
And refine,
But it's not the boss.
Presence,
Self,
Head,
The quiet witness above it all,
The I am here that watches without panic.
Notice if your body perks up,
Softens,
Or tingles a little more at the mention of one of these.
That's information.
Meeting your inner authority as a child,
Not a judge.
Now,
Imagine there is a very young version of your inner authority,
A child aspect of your body,
Sitting in front of you.
This child doesn't speak in big concepts.
They just know,
This feels good,
This feels bad.
I'm not sure yet.
You might picture them in a place they love,
On earth,
By water,
Near a tree,
Or with something comforting in their hands,
A stone,
A cup,
A blanket.
Gently ask in your own words,
When something is right for us,
How do you feel?
Then wait.
You might sense a softening somewhere,
A warmth in the chest or belly,
A steady,
Relaxed breath,
Or just a tiny mm-hmm inside.
Now ask,
When something is not right for us,
Or not yet,
How do you feel that?
Again,
Wait.
You might notice tightening,
Nausea,
Collapse,
Or your energy going blank or numb.
You don't have to get it perfect.
You're just getting to know this innocent body language without forcing it into words yet.
If it feels okay,
Say to this inner child,
I'm sorry I've ignored you or overruled you.
I'm learning to listen.
You don't have to explain everything.
Just show me how it feels.
Making space for timing.
Now we'll honor timing.
For about half the planet,
Clarity doesn't come in the moment.
Emotional authority needs waves,
Time,
Sleep,
Different moods.
If you know you're emotionally defined,
Or if you just notice your feelings change a lot,
Place a hand on your solar plexus area,
Between ribs and navel.
Quietly say,
You don't have to rush.
We can take time.
It's safe to wait for clarity.
Notice how your body responds to that permission.
If you're a pure generator or manifesting generator with a clear gut response,
You might sense more immediate sacral uh-huh or uh-uh.
Place a hand on your lower belly and just feel that pulse.
If you're splenic,
Your knowing might be very quiet and in the moment,
A whisper rather than a speech.
Let your awareness rest at that left side of your body,
Around your ribs,
And imagine that whisper saying,
This feels healthy.
This feels off.
If you're self-projected,
Ego,
Or mental,
Your authority still lives in your body and voice,
Through what you hear yourself say to trusted people who don't try to fix you.
You might imagine one of those people sitting beside you,
Simply listening.
Let whatever your configuration is be innocent,
Not wrong.
You're not complaining.
You're just noticing how this particular vehicle wants to move.
A simple,
Repeatable question.
To close,
We'll give your body one simple question it can answer every day.
Bring a hand to wherever feels most alive.
Belly,
Chest,
Throat,
Or somewhere else.
Take a slow breath in.
And out.
Ask quietly.
Body,
What would feel a little more kind,
A little more correct,
In the next 24 hours?
Then listen.
You might get,
Drink water.
Go to bed earlier.
Say no to that thing.
Walk barefoot for five minutes.
Talk this out with a safe friend.
Whatever arises,
Let it be small and doable.
This is how innocent works.
One honest step,
Not a 10-year plan.
Finally,
Place one hand on your heart and one on your lower belly.
If that's available.
Silently tell yourself,
My body is the life.
My inner authority is innocent.
I am allowed to learn how this feels in my own timing.
Take one more slow inhale.
And a long,
Easy exhale.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes or return your gaze to the room around you.
You can come back to this practice whenever you forget that your body was never the problem.
It has been quietly telling the truth in the language of the nine elements since the moment you arrived.
