Dr. Amelia Kelley is a trauma-informed therapist, author, researcher, meditation teacher, and host of the Wired & Worthy podcast. Her work blends science-backed education with compassionate, accessible practices that help people understand their nervous systems, regulate overwhelm, and reconnect with their inherent worth. Amelia is a licensed mental health counselor, art therapist, certified yoga teacher, and trained hypnotherapist. Her clinical and educational work draws from mindfulness, meditation, somatic practices, Havening Techniques, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Brainspotting, art therapy, and other body-based approaches. Her primary areas of focus include trauma recovery, adult ADHD—particularly in women—high sensitivity, emotional regulation, relationships, boundaries, self-compassion, and burnout. She is the author of Powered by ADHD, Gaslighting Recovery for Women, and Surviving Suicidal Ideation. Her insights have been featured by NPR, Psychology Today, ADDitude, TIME, Teen Vogue, SELF, and Psychotherapy Networker. Her TEDx talk was selected as a TEDx Editors’ Pick. Amelia believes healing does not require becoming someone entirely different. Often, it begins with learning to listen to ourselves with greater curiosity, compassion, and care. Her Insight Timer offerings create a gentle settling space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and discover practices that meet you where you are.
