Hi and welcome.
My name is Sonia and I'm going to help you fall asleep now with this guided meditation.
Towards the end of the meditation,
As you drift into sleep,
I'll be sharing some healing affirmations to welcome in health and vitality into your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
Wherever you are,
Find a comfortable position,
Gently closing your eyes and setting the strong intention to set anything aside from your day and to just be here now,
Dedicating this time to restful sleep.
Begin to become aware of your breath,
Noticing the inhale and the exhale.
And as you're in this witnessing process of your breath,
Starting to see if you can elongate the inhale and the exhale,
Feeling the expansion of the breath in the chest and in the belly on the inhale and a sense of release that happens on the exhale.
As you're taking these long and slow inhales and exhales,
Relax the jaw,
Releasing any sense of clenching or gripping in the face,
Unfurrowing the brow.
Allow the hips and thighs to get really heavy,
Giving way to gravity and feeling the support of the bed.
Let the calves get heavy and the ankles roll to the sides,
Opening up the body for deep sleep.
Taking a big inhale and on the exhale,
Slowly sending all the breath and energy down into the feet.
I'm going to guide you through a breathing pattern that will help you fall deeper into sleep.
You're going to inhale for four breaths,
Hold the breath for seven,
And exhale for eight.
Let's do these first few rounds together.

I trust my body's ability to take care of me and heal itself.
I release anything that's creating distress in my body.
My body is a vessel for love.
I am thankful for every breath that I take.
I am healthy and whole.
I speak lovingly to my body.
I am grateful for all the blessings in my life and all the blessings to come.
I take good care of my body and honor it fully,
Nourishing it well.
Continue to drift into sleep,
