Sovereignty Chakra Affirmations Welcome to this affirmation practice to bring maturity and balance to the chakras,

Or energetic centers of the body.

This meditation was part of an Insight Timer 7-week chakra healing series,

And so it assumes that you already have a pretty good understanding of the chakras.

If you didn't attend those events,

You can still benefit from these affirmations by remaining open and receptive to the energies they invoke.

And be sure to follow my profile here on Insight Timer to be notified if I offer a repeat of the chakra healing series.

My name is Beth,

And I'll be guiding you through this meditation.

So make yourself sublimely comfortable.

You may sit or lie down,

But make sure that your spine is straight so that the energy may flow freely up and down it.

Once settled,

Let's begin with a few cleansing breaths.

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

Repeat that for yourself a few times.

With each exhalation,

Let go of any tension stored in the body.

Soften and relax.

We are going to start with the affirmation for the root chakra,

Also known as Muldhar.

Muldhara means foundation,

And it's about feeling safe and secure.

The color here is red.

You might want to imagine that color as you focus on this area of your body at the perineum.

As I read the affirmation statement,

You're welcome to hear it repeating in your own mind.

You may,

If you wish,

Even repeat it aloud,

Or just listen and take in the words.

We share the basic needs,

Including food,

Health,

Shelter,

Love,

And sleep.

It is within my power to satisfy my basic needs without causing harm to myself or others.

Now draw your attention up to the sacral chakra,

Svadhisthana.

Svadhisthana means your own place,

And it's about knowing your wants.

Here the color is orange.

Sacral maturity relates to my ability to choose and accept the results of my choices.

I easily name,

Construct,

And move towards those people,

Objects,

And situations that align with my soul.

Let us move now to Manipura,

The solar plexus chakra,

Where the color here is yellow.

Manipura is a word meaning city of jewels,

And the center is all about our willpower.

Imagine that bright yellow radiating from your solar plexus.

My fully developed willpower provides me with the energy I need to create my life from the inside,

Which then manifests outside.

My undeviating will leads me to well-being,

Satisfaction,

And success.

We now continue to the heart center,

Anahata chakra,

Where the color is typically green or pink.

You can choose whichever you feel you resonate with.

The word Anahata means unbeaten.

This is all about love,

Love and connection.

I can have empathy for others without becoming entangled,

Overwhelmed,

Or lost.

I keep my own needs,

Wants,

Desires,

And feelings distinguished from the needs,

Wants,

Desires,

And feelings of others.

I can be there for others,

Listen to others,

And offer all I have to give to others freely without the need for anything in return.

Let us now move up to the throat chakra,

Vishuddha.

The word Vishuddha means purification.

The color here is turquoise or light blue.

I have full command to say what I mean and mean what I say.

Therefore,

I can easily relate to others,

Collaborate with them in constructive ways,

And remain relaxed and comfortable in every situation.

I can relate to myself with that same ease and am comfortable with all aspects of my personality and circumstances.

I have full command to say what I mean and mean what I say.

Let us now rise to the third eye,

The Ajna chakra.

The word Ajna means to perceive or to know.

And the color here is indigo,

A deep blue.

I see with a diamond-like clarity what is real and meet every situation with that awareness.

I am not susceptible to distortions of truth or manipulations.

I understand that everything in the world is a reflection,

Though not necessarily a clear one.

And now,

Sahasrara chakra,

At the crown.

Sahasrara means thousand-fold.

Imagine a beautiful lotus of a thousand petals.

This is our spiritual center,

Our collective consciousness.

And the color is white and sometimes purple,

So you can choose.

I fully accept myself and others as individuals and as divine,

Meaning I do not need,

Want,

Nor expect myself or others to be different.

My faith in life is secure because I recognize that I am one part of a much greater whole that knows and loves me.

Now just rest and breathe in silence with me for three full minutes.

Integrate these statements and visualize the aligning of each of your chakras centered through your being and radiating out in all directions.

You'll hear a gentle bell when it's time to return,

Breathe,

And stretch.

Thank you for joining me for this practice.
