Good morning.
I'm Diane Pienta.
And I would love to share with you one of my favorite tips for when I'm feeling a little overwhelmed or maybe some anxiety and just want to come back into a calm,
Peaceful center.
So we're going to go ahead and take our left hand.
And put it on our right ribs,
Right where it's comfortable.
Right where our liver is.
Then we're going to take our right hand.
And we're going to put that on our left elbow.
And I'll step back a little,
Maybe,
So you can see me.
And just relax your shoulders and sink into this.
Delicious hug.
You know,
We're very often taught that this posture is not friendly and that we should be very open.
But in fact,
This hold actually signals to our body and to our nervous system that we're safe.
That all is well.
That we can relax.
And it's a comforting.
Nourishing hold for when you need that to come back to center.
And the great part is that you can do this anywhere,
Anytime.
It's great for if you wake up in the middle of the night and you're trying to get back to sleep,
Maybe with some racing thoughts.
Just give yourself this hug.
It's great if you're in the middle of a meeting and you need to come back to you and come back to center.
We could just do this right at the table.
If you're in traffic,
Wherever you need just a one or two minute reset.
So go ahead and just sink into this calm.
Peaceful.
Supported.
And breathe.
Thank you.
And know that you can stay here now as long as you'd like,
As long as it feels good.
And you can come back to this whenever you need it.
Thanks so much for joining me.
I'm Diane.
I hope you have just a really calm and peaceful day.
Namaste.
