Make yourself comfortable and if possible,
Close your eyes.
Begin to take a deep inhale through your nose,
Exhale sighing the breath out of your mouth.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
As you inhale,
Breathe in stillness.
As you exhale,
Let any thoughts or tension melt away.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
By slowing down and taking these deep conscious breaths,
You're letting your body know that it's safe to soften and relax to just be.
Deep breath in,
Deep breath out.
One more deep breath in.
Hold the breath as you allow yourself to absorb this fresh energy.
Slowly exhale,
Sending this energy around you like a shield.
Gently open your eyes as you return your awareness to the external world around you.
