Welcome,
My name is Deanna and together in this meditation we'll cultivate a sense of peace as we learn to trust and embrace the unknown.
Before we begin,
Find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably,
Allowing your palms to rest gently on your knees.
Close your eyes and begin to tune in to your breath,
Settling into stillness in your body and mind.
Slowly,
Begin to take a deep breath in,
Holding the air in your lungs for just a moment.
Slowly,
Exhale,
Releasing the air as you settle deeper into your body.
Inhale,
Deep breath in,
Exhale,
Deep breath out.
One more,
Deep breath in,
Holding for just a moment,
Deep breath out,
Release.
Become aware of your breath as it slowly returns to its natural rhythm.
It can be hard to remain present,
To trust,
When so much of the future lies in the unknown.
I know,
But in the uncertainty lies opportunity,
Potential,
Adventure.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
When we're willing to release our fears,
Attachments,
Doubts,
Then trust that things will turn out alright in the end.
We can make peace with the knowing.
Though the future may be uncertain,
It's not unlike the past.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
You've survived every moment of uncertainty you've faced and here you are,
Living,
Breathing,
Being.
Moment by moment,
Day by day,
Year by year.
You made it through all the times you weren't sure what the future had in store.
So with your next breath in,
Allow yourself to connect with the peace of the past that you survived and as you breathe out,
Release the worries for the future,
Knowing,
Trusting that here,
In this present moment,
You are exactly where you're meant to be.
Even if you can't see where your journey is leading you,
Trust that there is a purpose.
Trust that you are being guided,
Supported,
Protected.
Trust that things will work out.
Embrace the uncertainty with curiosity and an open mind.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Allow yourself to savor this energy of peace and trust,
Integrating it with every part of your being.
Take one final,
Deep inhale,
Holding for just a moment.
As you exhale,
Sigh it out,
Releasing your fears as you slowly awaken your body by beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and return your awareness to the external world around you.
Take this feeling of trust with you as you embrace the unknown with a sense of peace,
Knowing that you can handle anything that lies ahead.
