Good morning,
Welcome.
My name is Deanna and together we'll ease into the day with a sense of peace and positivity.
Find yourself seated in a comfortable position or lying on your back in bed.
Allow your hands to rest softly on your knees or by your sides.
When you're comfortable,
Gently close your eyes and begin to tune your awareness to your breath.
Deep inhale,
Allow yourself to take in the fresh energy of this new day.
Slowly exhale as you release the stagnant energy of the past.
Inhale breathing life in,
Exhaling releasing all worries.
As you allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm,
Bring your awareness to the sensations you feel in your body.
Feel the rise of your chest as it expands,
Filling your lungs with fresh air.
Notice your chest soften as you exhale,
Settling your body deeper and deeper into this new day.
Throughout this meditation,
Allow your breath to be your anchor,
Every inhale and every exhale grounding you here in this moment.
As you observe your breath,
Begin to consider the miracle of your life,
Of waking up to a new day,
Of the fresh air that fills your lungs,
Your body and senses,
Even the gift of time that allows you to be here now.
Allow yourself to relax into a state of gratitude as you think about all the things you have in your life to be grateful for.
Notice the warmth of the connection forming between you and the energy of gratitude around you.
Can you breathe even deeper,
Allowing even more of this energy to enter your body?
When we appreciate what we have and where we are,
We allow ourselves to relax into a magnetic state of fully receiving all the magic that is within and around us.
As you inhale,
Visualize this energy radiating through your body,
Charging you with a sense of positivity about the day ahead.
As you exhale,
Release any negative energy,
Worries,
Doubts or fears settling your body into the here and now.
Allow the following affirmations to sink into your subconscious by repeating them out loud or in your head,
Letting them linger in your mind for just a few moments.
Today,
I choose to be at peace with myself and the world around me.

As these affirmations sink in,
Start to return your awareness to the present moment.
Notice the sensations in your body,
The sounds around you,
And the feeling of your breath.
For a few more moments,
Just allow yourself to be fully present,
Soaking in all the gratitude for another opportunity to experience life.
Take one more deep inhale,
Breathing in an overflow of love.
As you exhale,
Release the breath as you gently open your eyes,
Slowly returning your awareness back to the world around you.
Carry this sense of gratitude and optimism with you as you continue on with your journey.
Know that you can return to this meditation every morning before beginning your day and allow your life to transform breath by breath.
