A Ray of Love and Light Animal Meditation with Deborah Deel This Animal Reiki meditation is an offering.

When we meditate and offer healing energy we keep a clear and open intention.

You and your animal friend may be with you as you do this practice,

Or they may not.

They may move closer to you or choose to move further away.

All of these are perfect.

As we practice we follow the philosophy that our animal friends make the choice.

They make the healing choice about the practice and being with you as you meditate.

Animals have an amazing wisdom to offer us and we hold space through our meditation for them and they choose how they wish to receive the beautiful energy we create as we meditate.

Deep compassion is about letting go of any expectations that we have.

So just be open to them joining you or perhaps not.

So with this in mind before we begin what I invite you to do is if you do have an animal in your home or with you now sit yourself in a place where they can easily move in and out of the space you are in without disturbing your practice.

Choose that place to be seated now that can facilitate this and feel free to pause this recording while you get yourself settled.

And let's begin.

Coming into a seated position for yourself with a nice elongated spine upright an open chest supporting the air to flow effortlessly through your body.

In turn this allows the energy to flow through you.

You can gently close your eyes and if you do have animal friends with you you may like to keep them open or softly open and close to make sure both you and your animal friend are safe as you meditate.

Let's begin by taking three beautiful inhalations together inhaling and exhaling releasing and letting go.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Last one breathing in and just sigh this one out.

Bringing our hands into gusho palms together in front of us a place of self-reflection and respect for self and others setting an intention here for our meditation practice.

May we receive what we need and may our animal friends receive whatever they need.

We welcome all animals to this meditation with us.

May all of you join for as long or as little as you like.

Now rest your hands down on your belly a place known as your hara below your navel centering and grounding yourself.

Breathing in and the air flows all the way down the central channel of the body into the lower abdomen.

There is a natural pause as the energy gathers there below the navel inside yourself and when you breathe out you breathe out at the hara and that air expands through your whole being.

And again breathing in and down a natural pause allowing the energy together in the hara and breathing out imagining you're filling your whole being with this energy.

Healing energy breathing in and down there's a natural pause and breathing out imagine you're filling your being with this life force energy.

Healing energy breathing in and the energy floats down into your lower abdomen and as you breathe out imagine you're filling up your whole being with this energy each breath deeply healing and nourishing.

If you have a good sense of the hara you can now let your hands relax rest them in your lap palms up or perhaps on your thighs or knees depending on how you're seated.

Continue to let the mind rest on the flow of the breath down into the hara gather there and then follow that energy on the out breath throughout your whole body.

Continue this staying with each new breath.

And now on your next in breath breathe it in and down into your hara and then as you breathe out feel that energy rising up from your hara into your heart space and it fills your heart space and shines out love from your heart to your animal friends.

You breathe in and down into the lower abdomen and as you pause you gather and then as you breathe out the energy rises into your heart space and then like a bright light shining out like the Sun energy flows out through your heart and it's a beautiful offering for your animal friends.

You breathe into the hara and the energy rises into your heart space and then expands out into the world to be shared with your animal friends.

It shines out from your heart like the Sun just shining beautiful and bright.

Breathing in and down into your hara naturally pause feel the energy gather in the hara and then breathing out that energy rises into your heart and transforms into a healing offering that is sent out into the world.

Shining inner love and healing beautiful heart to heart connection.

If they wish to join you and your beautiful radiant light they're welcome.

Continue this breath in and down into the hara and then on the out breath it rises into the heart and you shine out bright from your heart space.

An offering of unconditional love.

As we bring this practice to a close place your hands back in Gassho in front of you with a closing thank you to all the beautiful animal friends for their presence with you and for yourself and your practice.

A deep presence of unconditional heart to heart love offering the purest of ourselves in our energy and offering our beautiful energy our light with no expectations.

May they keep resting in that light and let's just finish with three centering breaths ourselves.

Sighing them out feeling your physical body.

I thank you for your practice.

You

A beautiful meditation on receiving Reiki energy and sending that flow into our pets! I'm so fortunate to have my dog Bentley lay next to me every morning in my recliner...He gladly jumps up and joins my meditation practice every morning to receive my vibrations and energy! Pretty special! Thank you for this offering!
