You are walking by the water, noticing the beauty of your surroundings. Be inspired to think of all the things that bring you joy, the experiences that have shaped you into who you are. Reflect and move forward with awareness and intention.

Transcript

You are standing by the water's edge,

Watching the waves.

Take a few deep breaths as you take in the sight.

Then you notice the waves crashing against the shore.

As you watch them,

Bring your attention back to your breath.

You feel a slight breeze in the air.

The sun feels warm on your skin.

Breathe deeply as you soak in the beauty of your surroundings.

You start to walk along and notice that there are stones everywhere washed ashore on this beach.

As you move,

You take note of the sound of the rocks beneath your feet.

With each step,

You feel the stones underneath you,

Strong but moving beneath each footstep.

Take a few deep breaths,

Noticing how you feel right now.

You continue to walk for a while,

Looking out over the water.

The sun twinkles on the surface and makes you smile.

As you look down,

You see a stone shaped like a heart.

You pick it up.

You hold the stone and turn it over and over in your hands,

Taking a few deep breaths.

Feel the smooth stone rolling in your palm.

Looking at the stone again,

You start to think of all the people,

Places,

And things in your life that you love.

The things that make you smile,

The things that bring you joy.

And then you think of all the experiences that have shaped you and molded you into who you are today.

Just as the water shaped that stone into a heart.

You smile again.

You tuck that heart shaped stone in your pocket as a reminder of this moment.

Each time you see that stone,

You hold that stone.

Remember how the water looked,

How the waves sounded.

Feeling the rocks beneath your feet.

This complete awareness of how you feel standing on that shore.

Wrap up this session by holding your hands over your heart and taking a few deep breaths.

Like that stone,

You have been through a lot in your life,

But you are right where you were meant to be.

Deanna has a soothing effect on me when I need it. I love the water, so this is so perfect for me. We all have been through something and it does make us who we are, just like the water wears away rough edges on a rock.
