This meditation and affirmation is to help you love and accept yourself.
All you need is a quiet place or if it is too noisy to concentrate you can use headphones.
Just sit or lie so that you are comfortable and close your eyes.
And we will begin.
You may wish to place your hands by your side or rest them gently on your body.
Feel your body supported and start to relax.
It's time to slow down and take some time for yourself.
Focus on your breathing.
Feel your chest rise and fill with each breath.
If you want to you can move your head from side to side,
Up and down and enjoy this stretch.
And when you are ready you can be still again.
The world can wait.
Your worries can wait.
This is your time.
Breathe in for a count of 4 and breathe out for a count of 4.
In and out.
Release any tension from your neck and shoulders,
From your face,
From your back and just keep breathing slowly and deeply and listen to my voice.
If your mind wanders it's not a problem.
You can acknowledge your thought and come back to your breath and come back to me.
I want you to repeat the following after me.
You can say them to yourself in your mind or out loud,
Whatever feels good.
I have many gifts,
Talents and strengths.
I am unique and I only compare myself to myself.
I forgive myself for any mistakes that I have made in the past because I've always done the best that I could.
I love and accept myself.
I am kind to myself.
I am grateful for my body and all the things that it allows me to do.
I am grateful for my mind and the person that I am.
I can develop my skills and abilities to help me become the best version of me but I know right now that I am enough.
I accept that where I am may not be where I want to be and that is okay.
I accept that I'm not perfect and I will never be perfect and that is okay.
I love and accept myself.

And now I want you to take a deep breath of the day and feel it energize you,
Bathe you in love and acceptance.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
And smile.
You are now ready to face the day and give it your absolute best,
