Blessings and welcome back to the way of the spiritual warrior where we get to learn to become unstoppable as we're moving forward allowing for the most beautiful life that we can ever live to come into fruition as we're moving forward evolving our consciousness leading our minds and thriving in every aspect of our lives My name is Daniel Roquillo and as always I'm deeply grateful and honored that you're choosing to join me,
That you're choosing to walk this way with me.
So in the last session we talked a little bit about some definitions,
We defined what it means to be walking this path,
And in this session we're turning our attention toward some of the traits of a spiritual warrior.
These are not all of the traits,
But these are some that have become clear to me to this point.
But just to get an idea of what it means to be moving in the world as a spiritual warrior.
We're gonna go through these,
There are about seven or eight I believe.
And as we're going through them,
The invitation is to sort of gauge ourselves relative to these traits.
On a scale from 1 to 10 where 1 is,
I don't inhabit this trait at all,
To 10,
My sense is that I'm mastering this trait,
Please note that that is a sense.
There's always a next level.
So even though we may have the experience of mastering a particular trait or quality,
There's always a next dimension to that.
There's always a next level to us.
Available to us.
But to use this session as a self-awareness tool,
A self-assessment tool,
We get to audit ourselves and the way we are today,
In this moment,
Relative to what is needed,
Relative to what signifies a spiritual warrior.
So these are in no arbitrary order,
We're just going to go through them in the order that they have come to me.
But the first one is that a spiritual warrior needs to be present.
They need to be anchored,
Grounded and centered in the nowness of this moment,
Not letting the past dictate too much,
Not being overly consumed by future projections.
Being present here and now,
Being anchored in the nowness of this moment allows us to make choices that are not based on past experiences,
That are not based on future fearful projections,
But that are based on what is the right choice to make now,
What is the highest choice that I can make now.
So a spiritual warrior needs to be grounded and centered and angered in the nowness of this moment.
A spiritual warrior needs to be crystal clear on their mission,
Or vision,
Or dream,
Or goal.
They need to be absolutely clear on what it is that they are moving toward.
I have favored intentions over visions.
Intention being a statement of direction.
A vision being a specified outcome.
I'm still big on intentions.
Because as we're moving toward that intention,
It allows for flexibility in the sense that we may be inspired to go off in a new direction.
Maybe spirit has something greater or grander in store for us,
But as we're not locked or limited to a particular outcome or end result,
We stay open and available for a pivot more than if we are locked onto a particular outcome.
However,
There is a tremendous value in having measurable goals.
If we want to lose weight for instance or if you want to make a certain amount of money.
Having clear goals assist us engaging and becoming aware of how far we have come.
So regardless of whether we have visions or intentions or goals or dreams,
The spiritual warrior needs to be crystal clear on what it is that they wish to experience.
Ambiguity,
Haziness,
That is not a trait of a spiritual warrior.
A spiritual warrior needs to be disciplined.
We talked in the last session about that quote that I found in my son's gym.
I don't quit when I'm tired,
I quit when I'm done.
Which I rephrase to,
I don't quit when I feel like it,
I quit when I'm done.
Discipline means doing whatever needs to be done to allow for that mission or vision or intention or goal or dream to come into fruition.
If it means working long hours,
If it means structuring a tight regimen of physical exercises or physical movement or whatever the case may be.
To have a plan and stick to it.
A level of stick-to-it-ness is necessary,
Is needed,
Is required of a spiritual warrior.
Coupled with this is an unwavering dedication to their mission.
A spiritual warrior has an unwavering dedication to their mission.
Meaning,
They do not stop,
They do not deviate,
They do not quit until they have arrived at whatever destination they set out to arrive.
They are relentless.
They are perseverant.
A spiritual warrior is fearless.
When we move outside of our comfort zones,
When we move into unknown territory,
When we say yes to allowing for that next great and grand version of who we are,
Fear will come up.
Whenever we start doing something new that we're not accustomed to,
That we're not used to doing,
Fear will come up.
That's just the ego's way of protecting us,
In the sense that it keeps us stuck where we are,
In the known,
Where the ego can keep an eye on us.
So a spiritual warrior needs to be fearless.
It doesn't mean void of fear,
It doesn't mean that they don't feel fear or don't experience fear.
It just means that they know that fear is merely an emotional reaction to something that they are unused to.
To something new,
Something unknown.
And so we experience the fear,
But we keep moving anyway.
In that sense,
We are fearless.
A spiritual warrior have a deep sense of self-awareness,
And in addition to that,
Self-responsibility.
Meaning a spiritual warrior is very aware and is seeking to become even more aware of the egoic voices,
The small and the limited,
What holds them back,
Stories,
Perceptions,
Habits,
So they have a habitual way of being self-aware,
Of self-assessing themselves.
And then they take responsibility for that.
Meaning,
A spiritual warrior does not place blame outside of themselves.
A spiritual warrior does not let some external condition and circumstance stop them from moving forward.
But they take responsibility for their experiences,
For their thoughts,
For their emotions,
For their actions,
So that they may continue to move forward.
And then the last trait that I've caught so far.
Is that the spiritual warrior has a burning desire for mastery.
And what this means.
.
.
Is that they know that there is so much they don't know.
They know that to continue to walk in the path or the way of the spiritual warrior there needs to be continuous expansion and growing There needs to be continuously releasing and letting go of that which no longer serves.
They need to continuously learn,
Learn,
Learn more and more and more.
Reading books,
Going back to school,
Taking classes,
Taking courses.
Because there's always more for us to learn,
There's always more for us to know.
And the more we gather in our knowledge backpack,
The more informed decisions can we make.
The easier it will be for us to discern which choices are serving us and which are not.
So the spiritual warrior has a burning desire for mastery.
If you have your own traits,
If more traits come up for you feel free to share it and obviously feel free to assess and audit yourself relative to that trait.
So let's say that we had seven or eight traits here.
At the end,
Which we are closing in on now,
We will have a list of seven or eight traits and we will have a grade next to each trait.
And that will give us a sort of a map of where we perhaps need to begin to do the most work.
Like,
For me,
What I'm realizing is that I have not been,
Oh,
I actually missed a trait.
So I need to go back.
I'll share which trait I give myself the lowest grade on,
And then we'll cover the last trait.
So,
Being crystal clear on their mission.
I have been crystal clear on an intention,
But I have not been crystal clear on what that really means to me.
As I believe I shared in the first session,
For a number of years I had the intention to be living a simple,
Peaceful and quiet life.
Unbound by time and place,
But I didn't really know what that meant.
And as I didn't know what it meant,
And this is what I'm realizing now in retrospect,
Looking back,
It was difficult for me to really make choices that led me in that direction.
As I didn't know what it was.
It wasn't until we went to Spain that I got a very clear idea of what kind of life I want to live.
Now I absolutely know what that life means,
And now I also know what it will take for me.
To live that life,
In terms of the passive income that I need to have.
So now I'm crystal clear,
I have my numbers all figured out,
Which allows me to be even more focused than before.
It's no judgment.
But I was actually thinking earlier today that,
Thinking back to a couple of years ago and the direction I was moving in,
That I was sort of dabbling and I was sort of lost.
Because I didn't know.
I wasn't crystal clear on what I wanted and what it would take for me to get there.
I had a vague idea of what I wanted.
But I had no idea as to what it would take for me to get there.
Now I do have a pretty good idea of what it will take for me to get there.
And therefore I can make those decisions.
I can make choices that are in even higher alignment with the choices that I used to make.
As I said,
This is no judgment.
I was where I was back then,
Two years ago,
And I am where I'm at now.
There has been an evolution.
There has been an expansion.
There has been progression.
The time has come for me to be right where i am once again we're dealing with one mind that is benevolent that is always expressing itself perfectly so i am perfectly positioned now to to move forward,
Just as I was perfectly positioned then to move forward to the point where I am now.
But I'm still aware of the tremendous difference of what I would call now an ambiguity or vagueness back then on my mission or vision or intention,
And the clarity I have now.
So the last trait of a spiritual warrior is profound integrity.
And what this means,
Obviously,
We may have our vision,
We may have our mission,
We may have our intention or goal or dream,
But in no way,
Shape or form does a spiritual warrior beat out competition.
We do not talk down,
We do not abuse,
We do not mistreat others.
We do not take advantage of others.
Yes,
We are absolutely set on doing whatever needs to get done or be done,
But no,
We're not causing harm to anyone or anything.
All beings are equal.
All beings are equal.
So we have our mission and we're doing what we're doing to uplift ourselves and the entire planet not only humanity but the entire planet.
So unconditional love.
Perhaps is another trait of a spiritual warrior.
To move through life with unconditional love for all beings.
For all beings.
So we have the list,
We have a sense of where we perhaps need to do the most work right now,
And the question obviously is then,
Now that we have that awareness of perhaps our weak spots or blind spots,
What choices can we begin to make to up-level that trait or that area of our lives?
To be more in alignment with a spiritual warrior.
To take that trait,
To take that area into the next level for us.
What choices can we make?
Because this is obviously something that we'll come back to over and over again.
Awareness is one thing.
Allowing the awareness to move us into action is a completely different story.
Completely different story.
That's where the transformation happens.
A lot of people are aware of perhaps their blind spots or weak spots,
But not all who are aware act on that awareness.
But if we want anything to change,
These are the three principles of transformation.
If we want anything to change,
We need to change.
Number one.
Unless we change,
Nothing will ever change.
Number 3 When we begin to change,
Everything begins to change.
Change,
Transformation,
Taking action,
Moving forward.
That is how we move along the way of the spiritual warrior.
Continuously evolving ourselves,
Continuously up-leveling ourselves,
Continuously expanding ourselves,
Continuously progressing.
Cool thank you so so much for tuning in for participating until we meet in the next session as always i bless bless bless our days and i bless bless bless our ways With much love,
Many blessings.
Namaste.
