Good morning,
Friends,
And welcome to this quick morning practice that will help you to really connect in with the energy that you want to show up with today.
How do you want to meet each moment?
And that is your power that you get to decide right here,
Right now.
So without further ado,
Let's get started.
And I'll invite you to get into a comfortable position,
Ideally sitting up if you can.
And ideally closing your eyes if you feel comfortable.
I'll invite you to take any final adjustments that you need.
Nice tall spine,
Relaxed shoulders,
I'll invite you to soften the eyes and place your hands on your lap or on either leg,
Opening up the chest 10% more,
Bringing a slight smile to the face if it feels natural,
Relaxing the hands and softening the belly.
Placing your seat beneath you and your feet where they make contact with the earth,
Knowing that you are exactly where you need to be.
And together,
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose and slowly out through the mouth.
Do that again,
Deep breath in,
Slowly releasing,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
And the biggest breath you've taken this morning,
Filling the belly,
Chest and lungs,
And then letting something go with the out breath,
Returning back to your natural rhythm of breath.
And just for a moment,
Noticing the inhale,
How good that feels and the exhale.
You may also notice that there's some tightness with the breath and that's also just information the body is giving.
So just being aware of it and trusting that it will move with time.
As you stay steady with your breath,
Knowing you can return back to it at any moment,
I'm going to invite you to ask yourself the question,
How do I want to show up today?
How do I want to feel?
How do I want to be?
I'm just noticing if there's anything that is coming up for you.
You may be flooded with answers,
There may be nothing.
So what we get to do is just almost observe and notice what starts to arise,
What becomes alive.
And I'd love to offer you some suggestions as well.
And some of these qualities may be to be gentle with yourself today,
To be curious,
To be patient,
To be inspired,
To be compassionate,
To be present.
Taking a few more moments to choose which intention you'd like to pick,
And there's no right or wrong one.
And with your eyes closed,
I want to invite you to start to feel into the energy of this intention.
So as you begin to imagine what it's like to feel this quality,
Can you notice in the body where it feels most alive?
And it may be very subtle,
But just noticing as you start to focus on this energy of,
Of this quality you want to,
Want to be,
Imagine if you were fully living it right now.
If we waved a magic wand and all of a sudden you were living fully with this energy,
What would that feel like?
What would your body posture look like?
Would you stand a little bit taller?
What would your facial expression be?
If you were fully living with this energy,
Would it be relaxed and soft?
And can you imagine bringing this quality into your day,
Into your work and imagining what that would look like in all the different circumstances and situations,
Regardless of what anyone else is doing,
What would it look like for you to fully own this energy?
How good would that feel?
And allowing yourself to play with these different imaginative situations as you bring to mind what it would look like to really bring this energy into your relationships with your family,
Your friends,
Your loved ones,
What would that feel like?
What would that look like?
How about towards the challenging moments in your life,
The inevitable ones,
The unexpected ones that happen each day,
What would it look like to bring this energy to those situations?
And what would you do differently?
Whether it's with a person,
Maybe it's traffic,
Whatever that may be,
How do you choose to face it differently when you're fully embodying this energy?
And lastly,
How would it look for you to bring this energy to yourself with how you talk to yourself,
How you take care of yourself,
What would that look like and how good would it feel?
And allowing yourself to imagine a scene or a few where you're really taking a different approach,
Making different decisions based off this energy.
And what we're doing here is training our mind to go through the motions of living in an intentional way because the mind doesn't know any different between imagination and what's real.
So the longer you can spend practicing how you want to feel,
It will become more accessible in your day-to-day life.
Taking any final moments here to bask in the energy that you created,
Knowing that this is available and accessible to you at any time.
And my invitation for you is that as you open your eyes and move on with the rest of your day,

Anchor back into this feeling anytime you want.

Watch what happens as you meet each moment with intention.
