Welcome to this Virgo season meditation.
Virgo is a sign ruled by the planet of Mercury.
Its season calls for a time of grounding,
Self-care,
And nurturing your well-being.
It invites us to focus on the details,
Organize our lives,
And cultivate mindfulness.
It's a wonderful opportunity to embrace self-reflection and personal growth.
Whenever you're looking to amplify the energies of Virgo,
You are welcome to use this meditation,
Regardless if it is in or outside of Virgo season.
To begin,
Find a comfortable seated position,
Finding support in your body,
Whether that is in a chair,
On a cushion,
Or maybe even laying down if that's what your body is asking for today.
Take a few moments to adjust into a position that feels comfortable and supported.
It is helpful to lift your shoulders up,
Back,
And down,
Opening up your chest,
Noticing a slight tilt in your pelvis so that it can be neutral,
Meaning you're not leaning forwards or back,
Taking some time to notice where your shoulders are.
Are they high by your ears?
Are they in a relaxed position?
You can place your hands on your body gently with your palms facing upwards or down.
Once you've found a position that feels good,
You can slowly close your eyes and take a few deep breaths at your own pace,
Inhaling and exhaling in and out through your nose.
With each inhale,
Imagine your breath calming your body,
Inviting in clarity,
And with each exhale,
Release any tension or worry,
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you so that you can be present for this meditation.
Virgo season is a time to nurture yourself and practice self-care.
It is a great time to reflect on the ways you can honor your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
Virgo energy encourages us all to focus on the present moment and embrace mindfulness.
With this in mind,
Visualize yourself moving throughout your day with intention and awareness.
Without any judgment or frustration when any distractions,
Ideas,
Or to-do lists arise,
Allow yourself to be in this moment.
Allow for these distractions or ideas embodied in these sensations to guide you in this meditation.
With your next inhale,
Ask yourself,
How can you continue to embrace self-care,
Mindfulness,
And personal growth throughout this season?
Allow for your body and mind to communicate with you no matter how long it may take.
Sometimes this information arrives to us very quickly during meditation.
Other times it may arrive to us in the next couple of hours,
Days,
Or even weeks.
And if that's the case,
That's okay.
This is a part of the practice of meditation.
This is a part of the practice of connecting to your body,
Mind,
And spirit.
If you've lost track of your breath,
That's okay.
All you have to do is return back to this present moment,
Reminding yourself that mindfulness allows for you to connect to the now,
Helping you reduce stress and enhance your overall well-being.
Take a moment now to reflect on your meditation as we come to a close.
What do you want to continue on in this season?
And what intention can you offer for the sake of all sentient beings?
Allow yourself to feel gratitude for this moment,
For this body,
Mind,
And spirit that supports you.
Bring a movement back into your body,
Whether that is swaying side to side,
Rotating in a circle in one direction,
And then moving in the other,
Or maybe giving yourself a hug.
When you're ready to do so,
You can slowly open up your eyes and carry on with a sense of grounding and mindfulness throughout your day.
