Welcome to this evening meditation for empaths.
For this ritual,
You may wish to light a white or purple candle and have a small bowl of salt water nearby for cleansing.
You can also do this practice without the candle and salt water.
Find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed.
Sit or lie comfortably,
Allowing your body to settle into the surface beneath it.
Begin by taking three deep cleansing breaths.
Inhale through your nose,
Hold for a moment,
Then release slowly through your mouth.
With each exhale,
Imagine releasing the day's accumulated energies.
Bring your attention to your energy field.
Imagine it as a luminous egg-shaped bubble surrounding your body.
Examine this bubble and notice where it feels heavy or dense.
These are the places where you may have absorbed others' energies throughout the day.
Now,
Envision a waterfall of pure,
Crystalline light descending from above.
As it cascades over you,
Feel it washing away all external energies.
Watch as these energies dissolve into the earth,
Where they will be transformed.
If you chose to use salt water,
Dip your fingers in it now and trace a circle around your heart center.
Feel the salt's protective and purifying properties creating a gentle barrier.
Imagine your energy field now becoming more defined and vibrant.
Its edges grow clearer,
Creating a healthy boundary between you and the world.
Fill the space with your own essence,
Perhaps visualizing it as your favorite color or a warm golden light.
Now,
We are going to repeat the following affirmation three times.
I return all energies that are not mine with love.
My energy field is strong,
Clear,
And uniquely my own.

My energy field is strong,
Clear,
And uniquely my own.
Place your hands on your lower belly.
Feel your connection to the earth growing stronger.
Imagine any remaining excess energy that is not your own flowing down into the earth through your feet.
Feel the renewed clarity in your energy field.
Take three more deep breaths,
Each one affirming your right to maintain energetic sovereignty.
Before opening your eyes,
Seal your practice by drawing a circle of protection around yourself with your right hand,
Moving clockwise from your heart center outward.
Gently begin to move your fingers and toes.
When you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
Consider keeping a small black tourmaline or amethyst crystal with you during the day to help maintain the clarity achieved in this practice.
Remember that this meditation becomes more powerful with regular use.
You may wish to perform it daily during the first week.
Then adjust the frequency based on your needs.
