So,
Good morning or good afternoon.
My name is Corrie.
As some of you may know,
Thank you for being here this morning.
Settle in.
Close down your eyes.
And get comfortable in your seated meditation position.
Time to shut out the rest of the world.
Time to.
.
.
Try and go inside.
Of yourself.
For a moment.
Let your breath.
Start to lengthen,
So take longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths.
And let your breath.
Guide you into a place inside that starts to feel more.
Relax.
With those long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Allow them to slow it down.
Soften your body.
You can relax your posture.
So relax your shoulders,
Relax everything around.
Your straightened spine.
Just breathe.
Soften into.
Your body.
Pay close attention to what you're actually witnessing with your eyes closed.
Notice.
The darkness that you can see.
Maybe there's some shadows of light coming through.
Maybe you see colors,
Or maybe it's completely black.
But when you close your eyes.
Definitely the dark is present.
There.
Duality of what things look like with your eyes open.
Versus.
Closing your eyes and going inside.
Going into.
The darkness.
Start to let yourself feel as if you're in a safe place.
In this darkness.
So even though.
.
.
As you stare out into the darkness,
It's big and vast.
There's no ending to it.
Sights of your peripheral vision at all.
I would imagine behind you is dark,
Everything is dark.
Closed off.
Space.
And it could be.
.
.
As small as a tiny little box that you're in.
Or it could be like as fast as.
.
.
Being out there,
Bobbing around in the stars and the universe.
You can't tell.
Because there is no.
.
.
Visual expression.
That you can grasp a hold of.
To see the size of.
The darkness.
Right?
Have you ever thought about that?
Is this a tiny,
Small world?
Space when I close my eyes.
What is the space like?
When you go inside.
Going to challenge your minds.
Just a little bit today.
In that space in your mind.
In the darkness.
This is the first port of connection to you.
Being.
Anywhere.
In the universe.
This darkness right here.
Is like.
A portal.
A doorway.
Into anywhere that you would want to journey.
In your mind.
It all starts in this darkness.
If you're not activating your inner sight in any way and not conjuring up any types of visions or things for you to grasp a hold of if you just sit in this darkness.
This is your potter.
Many times we assume that in the darkness,
Nothing good happens in the darkness.
There is a layer of fear in the darkness.
Things are hidden.
Shadows.
But actually,
If you allow yourself to just be in this dark space,
Inside of yourself.
You will recognize that Yummy.
The thing that is here is potential.
Potential.
Potential.
4.
Gross.
Potential for expansion.
The only thing that here is potential.
Start to imagine.
This is where you let your inner sight play.
Start to imagine that all the things that you currently have in your life that make your life crowded.
Are around you right now in this space.
All of the things that you own.
Olive.
Your contents of your closet.
Of the content of your workload.
Pile them up as if it's all in boxes all around you.
Everything that you materially have.
Car or cars.
The house.
The kids.
The wife,
The husband.
Family.
The pets.
The job.
The bills.
Imagine it all around you.
Injures.
Box after box after box.
So that you get this.
Feeling of.
Being crowded.
Being surrounded.
Let yourself feel that.
Dark Space.
So now that.
You can sense all of these.
Things that are an extension of you and they're all around you.
Stacked up high on the left,
On the right,
In front What does your dark space now feel like?
Feels full.
Maybe overwhelm me.
Heavy.
Alright.
There's definitely a sense of space.
Because it feels.
Bull you feel contained.
In that space.
You feel it there.
You feel all those things that are you.
Just let yourself build them up and put them all around you as if they were objects.
All of your worries,
All of your.
.
.
All of your beliefs in little boxes everywhere.
The space is no longer spacious.
The space around you is.
Heavy.
Your inner space.
Is cluttered.
Now?
Let's do a little clean out.
Imagine now that everything that is outside of you.
Everything that's outside of you so the only things that's going to be around you are your thoughts your worries,
Your beliefs.
Everything else.
Imagine all those boxes disappearing.
All of the family,
All of the friends,
All of the.
.
.
Books that you own.
All of the shoes,
Everything works.
Life.
Remove it all.
Remove it all.
And just be with your personal,
Personal boxes.
The things that you hold on to.
The things that make you.
To share.
Maybe there's still quite a few boxes.
Maybe there's still.
.
.
A lot going on around you but there's a lot more space.
You start to feel that airy,
Spacey.
Possibility once again.
Like there could be space.
You could be just this tiny little thing.
Out there in the middle of the universe.
That could be the case again.
Even though you've got more baggage now,
You've got a couple of suitcases around you.
Think of it like that.
Good decent sized suitcases of what makes up the.
.
.
Mental.
Emotional state of you.
But you could still go places,
You could still be me.
More spacious.
If you let go of everybody else's stuff,
If you let go of all the material stuff that you didn't necessarily need.
All the responsibility of.
What takes place at Wu.
The majority of that responsibility.
Isn't even affecting you at the end of the day.
Take away all that stuff that's not yours.
And your inner sanctum.
Becomes a lot less cluttered.
And now.
In your mind.
Think about this for a second.
Looking at your suitcases and your boxes.
What could you just allow to poof and disappear?
That are old.
Wounds.
Oh.
Stuff you carry in a room.
From Child Earth.
Old beliefs.
Old.
Behaviours.
All of the old stuff that you just keep trugging around with.
Completely unconscious of the weight of it.
But now that you see it in front of you.
Can we let some of it just go?
What really matters?
What matters?
Today at this age.
At this part of your life.
What matters.
And just start to see everything else disappearing.
What matters.
It's more.
Probably off.
The size of a travel bag.
Like your own little backpack.
Of what truly truly matters.
Your house.
Your happiness.
Your safety.
People that you love.
What really,
Really matters.
What's the important stuff that you would take on a desert island?
What would you let go of?
Look at it like that,
Like if you had to live on a desert island and you only had that travel bag.
What old beliefs,
Old thoughts,
Old worries,
Old wounds?
Would you just say sorry?
Sorry.
I ain't got room for you.
Can't take you with me.
Just let them disappear.
Cause all that really can be with you is what is happening in this now.
This now.
So it's just you and your backpack.
And now let yourself feel all that space.
All of a sudden.
You can imagine yourself in the stars and the planets.
Out there in the universe once again.
Tiny little speck.
Of Yale.
With all of this potential.
And possibility.
All around you as soon as you close your eyes.
And you go into the inside of you.
In this world.
You could go anywhere.
You could be.
Anything.
The darkness actually holds.
Opportunity and potential.
It's just space.
The nice thing about the darkness is there isn't any shadows.
There isn't any dark corners.
It's all.
Which means you can see.
All of it.
Nothing hiding.
Whereas when we work in the light,
There's always the potential of stuff hiding in the dark.
Or when you just work in darkness.
Like the owl,
You can see everything.
Just change your perspective.
It's not scary inside of you.
Sometimes it's just a bit cluttered,
That's all.
Now.
I'm going to count to three and you can open your eyes and come back into this beautiful life of yours.
1.
Too.
3.
Opening up.
Coming back.
Feel in your body,
Feel in your seat.
Noticing your surroundings.
Completing your meditation for today.
Namaste.
My sweet friend.
