Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Make sure that you're all comfortable and warm in your bed.

Check that the light is just right in your room.

You're wearing your comfortable pajamas and that way you can relax your body and let go of your busy,

Busy day.

The cats had gone over to Tucker and Leo's house.

They were so excited,

So,

So,

So excited.

All five of them had been planning their Halloween outfit for the last two weeks.

It was October the 31st.

It was a Thursday,

2024.

It was Halloween night.

To make it more fun,

The cats had decided to go over to Tucker and Leo's house to get ready.

They were all going to get dressed and get ready together because,

I mean,

That's a lot of fun.

It's part of the night,

Right?

Just getting dressed up,

Playing some Halloween music while you eat Halloween cookies or Halloween cupcakes,

Drink crazy black fizzy soda,

Whatever it is that you're doing.

They wanted to do it together and they wanted to be human.

Oh,

MJ,

Cherry said,

Oh,

MJ,

Oh,

MJ,

Oh,

MJ,

I can't believe it.

This is like the first Halloween that we're going to get where we're actually human.

Can you believe it,

Guys?

Lea said,

No,

I'm so excited.

Heidi said,

Yeah,

It's going to be so cool.

I've always wanted to go trick or treating as an actual kid.

It's going to be the best to be able to knock on a door and say,

Trick or treat.

I can't wait.

And I love my outfit.

Cherry said,

Oh,

MJ,

Oh,

MJ,

I absolutely adore my outfit.

Lea said,

Me too.

I have chosen something very different from my normal personality and I kind of like that.

It feels risky.

They were talking and talking and talking away,

Stood outside Tucker and Leo's front door.

Finally,

One of them knocked on the door.

Tucker came to the front door and opened it up and said,

You're here,

Yay.

Me and Leo's been pissing all over the house.

We were so excited,

So excited.

We can't wait.

Wait till you see my outfit.

Leo said,

I'm actually excited.

I'm really excited about this.

Even though I'm not excited.

I'm not excited as Leo the dog because you know me,

I don't like noise.

I'm not really into crowds,

Not really into kids,

Not,

You know,

I'd rather stay in and just all those doorbell ringings and the barking and scariness.

Some of those kids wear really scary outfits,

But being human,

I'm excited.

I'm excited not to be so scared and I'm excited to be with my best friends.

Cherry said,

Oh,

Leo,

You're so darn cute.

What are you wearing?

Leo said,

It's a surprise.

Me and Tucker's going to get ready down here.

You girls are going to go get ready upstairs.

And then in one hour's time,

It'll be dark enough for us to go out and trick or treat.

Said Cherry.

I'm so excited.

Heidi was about to go upstairs and then she said,

Oh,

Wait a minute.

Don't you think we should be human first?

We can't get ready as cats and dogs and then turn into humans.

We have to be humans to put us outfits on.

Duh.

Tucker went,

Oh,

Yes,

Oh,

Yes,

Oh,

Yes.

My fault.

My fault.

OK,

Come on.

Come on,

Guys.

Follow me.

Let's go find my lovely stone.

Tucker went running out through the dog door full speed onto the back garden.

It didn't even go through the French doors and the French doors were wide open.

Leo opted to go through the French doors because he doesn't really like the dog door very much.

He'd much rather go through the big,

Open French doors.

Something about the dog door that's a bit weird for him,

It's a bit scary.

He does it when he has to,

But he'd rather go through the big,

Open,

Wide door.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veo followed Leo and they all went on to the back garden.

Leo watched Tucker frantically dig up his white stone that he always buries underneath the Buddha statue on the back garden.

It's here,

Said Tucker.

He grabbed a hold of it with his teeth.

And then he looked around and noticed that the moon was big and bright and bright and white in the sky.

Bright enough and white enough,

Hopefully,

To shine a light on his magical stone.

Tucker used one of his paws and took the stone out of his mouth.

He cleaned it off on his fur on his chest and then held it up to the moon.

It was a half moon.

It wasn't a full moon.

So he was hoping,

Praying that it would be enough bright white light.

The moon did its magic.

The stone got quite bright white and the golden threads and veins that ran through the stone got super,

Super bright,

As if someone was turning a light on inside of the stone.

And then his angel appeared.

There she was,

Hovering in the sky as beautiful as she always is.

Tucker peered at his stone and watched her wings flapping back and forth.

And she smiled at him as if she was looking down at him from above.

You get one wish.

Just one wish,

She said.

Tucker said,

You know me so well by now,

My magical,

Gorgeous,

Beautiful,

Divine angel.

You know me so well by now.

And,

You know,

This time I think I'm going to do what I always do.

Surprise,

Surprise.

I'm going to ask if you can change me and my wonderful friends into humans.

As if to say,

Da da da.

Tucker turned around and looked at his friends and by the time he'd literally turned his doggy head around to see his dog brother,

Leo,

And his best friends,

The cats,

Heidi,

Cherry and Veya,

They'd already all instantly changed into humans.

They were all just dressed in like casual,

Comfy sweats and T-shirts as if they were getting ready to put their main outfits on.

Cherry looked down at herself,

She had grey sweatpants on and an old,

Stained,

White T-shirt.

Perfect,

She thought.

Everyone else just looked at each other as if to say,

Right,

Come on,

What are we waiting for?

The girls ran upstairs and Tucker and Leo stayed downstairs.

Tucker was very impressed with his outfit.

Literally 15 minutes later,

Tucker was ready.

Tucker was looking at himself in the mirror in the living room.

It's quite scary,

He said.

Leo looked up at him and laughed.

I don't know how you thought about it or how you dreamed it up,

Tucker,

But that stocking on your head,

Whatever it is,

Tucker said,

I think it's called tights.

Leo said,

Don't tights have two,

Two legs?

Yeah,

Well,

I cut one of them off and I cut the body part off and I just kept the leg.

Tucker had basically bought a pair of women's tights,

Cut them up and saved one of the legs and then he pulled it over his head as if he was like robbing a bank or something and he was trying to disguise himself underneath.

But he wasn't trying to disguise himself underneath,

He wanted to create a look that looked just like Voldemort from Harry Potter.

So what he'd done is bought a pair of flesh-coloured pantyhose and he'd pulled one of them over his head and then he'd pulled it back up.

So he pulled his human nose up like a piggy nose,

Like Voldemort's.

And then he tied a knot at the top.

The pantyhose were tight underneath his chin.

He'd made it so that he could tuck them into his kimono and they weren't moving and that way it had kept his nose pointing up to the sky,

Squished to his face,

Just like Voldemort's.

He looked so scary.

He had on a black kimono and he tied it tight round his waist.

He also had a black wand.

He'd put grey-white paint all over his face and his hands before he'd put the pantyhose over his head.

So he looked like,

Wah,

Voldemort.

It was awesome.

His costume was awesome.

Leo said,

It looks really cool.

Quite scary.

Tucker said,

Yeah,

That's what I was going for.

Wait till the girls see it.

Leo,

On the other hand,

Had gone from Leo to Mr.

Bean.

Mr.

Bean is a character that's very,

Very funny.

It's like a silent comedian.

He's from England and he drives a crazy bright yellow car,

I think.

Tiny little yellow car.

He's called Mr.

Bean and he never talks,

But he pulls a lot of funny faces.

And Leo has seen him on telly before and he thought he was really funny.

So Leo was wearing a brown jacket,

As if he was a schoolteacher.

One of those tweed ones that look very boring,

Very schoolteacher-like.

With a red tie and a white shirt with brown,

Shiny,

Kind of boring-looking trousers and brown,

Boring-looking shoes.

He looked like he'd just walked out of a university,

As if he was a teacher at a university.

And he had absolutely no fashion sense at all.

And then he'd wet his hair down so it looked quite dark like Mr.

Bean's.

And he put gel in it and he'd given himself a really boring,

Geeky-looking side parting.

So his hair was like stuck to his head,

Basically,

In a side part.

He felt wonderful.

Basically felt like his own personality.

A little bit shy,

A little bit goofy,

Quite a particular flavour.

Everything about Mr.

Bean as the character suited Leo down to a T.

So there was Voldemort,

Tucker,

You know,

His dark side.

And there was Leo,

As sweet as anything.

Very,

Very geeky,

Very,

Very nerdy Mr.

Bean.

About ten minutes later,

After hearing lots of laughing and lots of loud giggles and all sorts of stuff going on upstairs,

The girls came running downstairs.

Cherry could not believe her eyes when she saw Tucker.

And,

Gee,

That costume is awesome,

She said to Tucker.

Tucker said,

Yeah,

I know.

You look great,

He said to Cherry.

Cherry was dressed,

Of all things,

As a black cat.

She had on a black jumpsuit that was like a leotard material,

But it had legs in it and long sleeves in it,

And it was all black and slinky.

And she got a long,

Like,

Feather-bower kind of black tail.

And a headband with ears on it,

So she looked like she'd got cat ears.

I don't know why I wanted to be a cat when I was a cat already,

But I've never been a black cat.

And they're so cute,

Especially for Halloween.

She looked so cute.

She had little black shoes on that matched.

And she'd painted a black cat nose with whiskers on her face.

So she wasn't ginger anymore.

She wasn't auburn,

Bright red.

She was black.

A black,

Silky,

Slinky,

Cute cat.

And she felt awesome,

Tucker said again.

You look so cool,

Cherry.

I love it.

Thanks,

Tucker,

She said.

Then Veya stepped off the bottom step and Leo said,

Wow,

That is not like you at all.

Veya blushed.

I know,

Right?

But it's kind of me in a way.

Veya was dressed as Jadis,

The white witch from Narnia.

You know,

The mean one?

Veya,

Mean?

Never.

But this outfit looked absolutely amazing on her.

She had on a long,

Bluish-white,

Icicle-colored dress.

It looked like feathers stuck to her body.

And then she had on a big,

Giant cloak that was made from white fur,

Bright white fur.

And it trailed behind her.

She looked like a queen.

I know she's called a white witch,

But she looked like a white snow queen.

And on her head,

She was wearing an icicle tiara.

She'd paled out her skin.

Even though Veya was quite pale anyway,

She was very dainty and blonde with pale,

Pale skin.

But she dusted it with white powder so she looked more ice queen-like.

And she had on bright red lipstick.

I feel so different,

She said.

Cherry turned around and said,

That's because you look so different.

You look so different.

So beautiful though,

Veya.

So,

So beautiful.

Thanks,

Cherry,

Veya said.

And then Heidi came down the stairs last.

Heidi was dressed as Velma from Scooby-Doo.

Perfect outfit for Heidi.

Because she wore glasses.

So she had her Velma glasses on.

And she had a bright orange turtleneck sweater that was big and long.

But it was quite fitted.

And it went all the way down over her hips on top of a red pleated skirt.

And then she had knee-high orange socks on and red shoes.

Just like Velma.

Tucker said,

That outfit is so you.

So you,

Heidi.

Heidi said,

Yeah,

I know,

Right?

Perfect.

I could just sit myself in the library and be completely disguised and no one would even notice me.

I feel exactly like myself as a cat.

But as a girl.

I mean,

It's perfect.

Are we ready to go anyway?

Are we ready to go?

Has everybody got like the baskets and the pumpkins or the bags or whatever it is we're going to take?

Tucker said,

Baskets?

You don't take a basket.

That's not cool.

You take a carrier bag.

A carrier bag?

Said Cherry.

How much candy do you think you're going to get?

Oh,

I'm going to get tons.

In fact,

Let's make it a competition.

I'm going to get the most candy out of all of us.

I'm going to get the most,

Most best candy.

Like the full size bars.

Like not just a tiny bar.

Like a full size Snickers or a full Kit Kat or a full pack of Reese's peanut butter cups or something.

Full ones.

Big ones.

We need to find the big houses that look like they have a lot of money.

Because they always have loads and loads and loads of candy.

Bea said,

Oh,

I don't think that's the case.

I think,

I think,

I think lots of different houses have different candy.

Not just the ones that look like they have money.

Because I know for a fact that some of our neighbours don't have very much money.

But they've always,

Always made a big deal out of Halloween to make sure that the kids get candy.

So there you go.

Tucker said,

Oh yeah,

You know what I mean?

I didn't mean it like that.

I just mean like,

You know,

I'm just saying some houses really like go all out and give loads of candy.

And some houses just don't even turn the lights on,

Do they?

So come on,

Let's go.

Because my friend told me that there's a neighbourhood just around the corner,

Like a block away,

That has really good candy.

Everyone basically followed along with Tucker.

They all grabbed a carrier bag out of the kitchen.

The streets were absolutely packed.

What they noticed first of all,

That they didn't have,

That they wished they had,

Was a lot of the kids had like glow-in-the-dark necklaces or glow-in-the-dark bracelets.

And it was really dark outside.

And it was really a brilliant idea.

It made total sense.

These kids weren't going to get run over by a car or something crossing the street.

They looked like they were illuminated like a robot or something.

Cherry said,

Aw,

I wish I had one of those necklaces.

They're so cool.

Maybe,

Maybe,

Maybe some of the houses are giving them out or something.

That's why all the kids have got them.

Sure enough,

The fourth house that they went to was so,

So good.

It was like the best house that they'd seen all night.

By the end of the night when they'd finished,

They all actually agreed that the fourth house was the bestest house that they'd been to the entire night.

The fourth house was absolutely amazing.

These people,

They'd completely changed the garage into like,

It looked like a dark room.

It was like a maze.

They'd built like walls and you had to kind of go through in the dark.

And then different members of their family,

Obviously,

Were like all dressed up as different scary monsters,

Like Frankenstein and skeletons and,

You know,

Ghosts and all sorts of stuff.

And they kept like jumping out on you.

It was like the perfect spooky horror house.

It was awesome.

And they had scary music on and ghosts like,

And things fell on your head.

And it felt like you were walking through cobwebs at one point,

Like real cobwebs.

It was so cool.

And they had a table outside that had tons of candy on it.

And you could choose which candy you wanted.

They had different bowls of different types of candy.

And they had a bowl of these glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklace things.

So,

Of course,

All of them opted to get the glow-in-the-dark necklaces and bracelets.

They went to about 20 houses.

And then they still weren't tired.

But then they'd run out of places to go.

The little street in their neighborhood that they were on,

Even the one that Tooka's friend had told them about,

Didn't have that many houses lit up.

The ones that were lit up were really good.

But the other ones,

Obviously,

Were either not home or just weren't participating in Halloween because not everyone does.

But they had so much fun.

By the time they'd actually gone to every single house they could see,

They could find,

They could think of,

They all wanted to go to the fourth house once again.

They went around through the scary,

Spooky,

Horror house thing again.

And when they got out this time,

They all decided to take a piece of candy.

When they got home,

They all sat down in Tooka and Leo's living room and sorted out their bags between their legs.

They spent the next hour sorting out their candy.

Which pieces they wanted to keep,

Which pieces they wanted to swap,

Which pieces they wanted to donate,

Which pieces they did not like at all.

They started to put them into different piles.

There was a swap pile,

And the swap pile meant that they all could just choose whichever ones they wanted out of it.

There was a donation pile,

The ones that they didn't really like in general,

Or the ones that they really wanted to just donate because they had three or four or five of them and they didn't need that many.

So they had a donation pile.

They decided that they were going to take the donation pile and take it down to one of the shelters downtown.

They would do that with their parents over the next couple of days sometime.

They didn't have full carrier bags,

So by golly did they have a lot of candy.

Cherry said,

This is going to take us like months,

Months to actually eat.

Tucker said,

Not me.

I've got it.

I've got it down.

I've decided if I have like five pieces a day,

It'll be gone in like two weeks.

Bea said,

Oh,

I don't think I can eat all this candy.

I think I'm definitely going to take another look at it in the morning and maybe give a lot more away than I'm going to keep because I think it's not good for our teeth.

Leo said,

I agree.

And I think I'm allergic to a lot of this to be honest with you.

They did enjoy quite a bit of candy though as they sat together and laughed and talked about the different houses that they went to,

Some of the coolest outfits that they saw,

The fact that they were actually like human.

And it was the best,

The bestest,

Bestest,

Bestest experience ever.

Far better than when they did it when they were cats or dogs.

So cool.

So cool.

Tucker kept saying.

By now he took off his silly pantyhose thing off his face.

His nose was still scrunched up a little bit and Cherry kept laughing at him.

What are you laughing at?

Nothing.

She said.

You just look so cute.

Tucker blushed.

But then eventually,

The girls had to go home.

And by the time they washed off all of their makeup,

They put on their pajamas and they got onto their beds,

They were back to being cats and dogs all over again.

I’d be a pirate!!! 😍 I have the shirt and sorta makeshift pants but I don’t have the rest of the stuff. The extremely unfortunate thing is that people in my part of India don’t celebrate Halloween 😢

𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗶 - A small talkative and curios dragon with large wings that come in many shades of green.

" Hurry up Ashai! We dont know what those things are and I dont want to find out! " said Equin, holding onto Ashai's claw/hand trying to drag her from getting closer to the figures. " But i want to know what they are! " Ashai loudly said, putting her claws into Equin's hand, forcing her to let go, then walking towards the figures. She unfolded her large, shiny wings as she slowly got faster. " NO! GET BACK HERE! " Equin yelled, making Ashai pause. Equin squinted at the figures, noticing they were running towards the two. Equin looked around, trying to find a way to escape, then looked at the water. " We have to go underwater. " Equin told Ashai. " Fine.. but you have to let have the large pearl you have in your cave! " Ashai said. " Sigh... okay. Lets just go. " Equin said as they dived into the water. They swam towards the oceania castle, swimming as fast as they could. Once at the castle, Equin and Ashai went into their rooms. Equin digged in her chest of findings and grabbed the pearl, handing to to Ashai. " Thanks sis! " Ashai said happily.
