My name is Kori,

Let's meditate together.

Get yourself into a comfortable seated position.

Make sure that everything feels right in your body.

So check in with your body,

Adjust if you need to adjust.

Straighten your spine for me,

Pull your shoulders down away from your ears.

Everyone let's do just a simple exercise to pull our attention into our body.

So if you can for me,

Take all of your attention and focus to your sit bones.

Feel your sit bones for me,

Just feel what you're sat on.

So feel the connection to the chair or the ground or the sofa wherever you're at,

The pillow that you might be sat on.

And feel it from your skin to the cushion.

Feel the softness of it or the sturdiness,

The hardness of the surface underneath your body.

Feel it on the back of your legs.

Feel it underneath your hip bones,

Your sit bones.

Pull your focus and attention into the sensations in your body in that area.

So let go of the surrounding world around you,

You're pulling your focus in.

Then take your focus and attention to the base of your spine.

So see if you can connect to your coccyx.

Aligning up your spine very slowly,

Making sure that your spine is nice and straight.

Imagine in your mind that you're checking in with each vertebra and we're slowly moving up the spine like a ladder.

Just checking in,

Feeling,

Straightening.

Allow your spine to lengthen as you do so.

So imagine that you're being pulled up from the crown a little bit.

Pull up through the lower part of your back,

The middle part of your back,

Through your scapula,

Up to your shoulders.

Go all the way up to the nape of your neck.

Then pull your focus and attention up to the top of your head.

So feel into your scalp.

Imagine that you can feel the hair follicles.

Imagine that on this next inhale,

You can breathe up to your scalp and make everything soften and relax.

The next couple of breaths,

Breathe up to the top of your scalp and imagine it just all like smoothing and softening,

All the tension kind of flowing out,

Melting away from the top of your head with your breath.

Let that relaxation start to roll down over into your forehead and around your eyes,

The space around your eyes.

Let that be soft.

See if you can drop your eyebrows just a little bit,

Even though your eyes are closed.

Soften them,

Drop them a little bit as if they're closing and the lids are becoming heavier.

Let that relaxation roll down into your cheeks.

So as if you've been smiling too much and your cheeks are tight,

See if you can soften the jaw and the mouth and relax the cheekbones.

Let that relaxation roll down over your temples,

Down over your cheeks,

Down into your jaw.

Relax your jaw.

Imagine in your mind that all the tiny little muscles in your face,

Those many,

Many muscles are all softening and relaxing.

And put a final bit of attention on your shoulders,

Pull them down physically,

Away from your ears,

Making more space between your shoulders and your ears.

Keeping your spine nice and straight,

But relaxing everything else around the body.

Relax the abdomen,

Relax the shoulders,

Relax your arms and your legs.

Keep the spine nice and straight.

With your eyes closed,

Taking your attention to your third eye area in the middle of your forehead,

Your inner sight.

Imagine that you're staring out into the space there in front of you.

For some reason,

The image of me standing in some kind of spaceship,

As if I'm on the docks,

Like when you watch Star Trek or something like that,

And you're staring out at the window of the spaceship there in front of you,

And there's all the stars and the planets and you can see the outer space there in front of you.

For some reason,

That's the visual I always get.

So if you like that and you enjoy it,

Imagine that you're staring in your head and you're standing there and you're staring out into this space and your head is like the spaceship.

Crazy,

But it works for me.

And you're staring out into the cosmos,

Into that whole universe there in front of your mind,

Instead of it just being some plain old black space.

And there's endless possibilities of where you can journey and travel to all the different dimensions,

All the different lifetimes.

Wherever we want to go,

This is the point that we can go from right here.

It's like the doorway to the inner world.

Playing with your imagination and your memory,

As you look forward in that space there in front of you,

I'd like you to imagine that there's a staircase there of 10 steps going down.

So in your mind,

Feel yourself walking forward a couple of steps until you stop and you find yourself peering down a staircase there in front of you.

Looking down the staircase,

Starting to get familiar with what this staircase looks like.

You can use your memory and imagine that this staircase there in front of you is like a staircase that you have at home.

So you can just recreate it in your mind if you want to.

Or you can let your imagination play and imagine that these stairs are whatever you're seeing.

Whatever your imagination is showing you,

Just go with it.

But there's 10 steps going down.

At the bottom of these 10 steps,

There's a door.

And I'll explain all about that door when we get down there.

But for now,

You might be able to see the door from the top of the 10 steps.

You might not.

I'd like you to look down at your feet,

First of all.

And if you're wearing anything on your feet,

Kick off your socks and kick off your shoes so that You're barefoot at the top of these 10 steps.

And now you can whittle your feet.

You can scrape them on the ground and you can feel what this top step feels like underneath your feet.

You're actually grounding into this experience.

You can feel these steps underneath your feet.

And they might be tiled.

They might be wooden.

They might be carpeted.

You might be completely different place.

You might be standing outside on the grass.

It doesn't matter.

You're not doing anything wrong.

Just play.

But there is 10 steps there in front of you going down.

Starting with whichever feels right for you,

We're going to go down these steps.

And as you go down the 10 steps,

You'll notice automatically that your body starts to feel heavier,

Even more relaxed.

The deeper you go down the staircase,

The deeper your state of trance.

Starting now,

Going down with me.

10,

9,

8.

Feel the steps underneath your feet.

Take your time.

7,

6,

5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Coming down at the bottom of the 10 steps,

There in front of you is the door that I told you about earlier.

I'd like you to take a couple of steps forward so that you're standing directly in front of your door.

At this point,

Just pay attention to your door.

So let your third eye get very keen.

Start to notice all the details about your door.

Notice what colour your door here is,

How big your door is.

Notice if it has any panels,

Any windows.

Is there a door handle or a door knob on the left or on the right?

If you look down at the ground in front of your door,

Is there a mat or is it just a floor?

Pay attention.

Let your senses start to get keener.

So sense the door.

See the door.

I'd like you to reach forward and just touch the door.

So feel the door.

Run your fingers over it.

Does it feel smooth?

Does it feel rough to touch?

What shape is it?

Is it a round door?

Is it a square door?

Is it really big?

Is it normal?

This door,

Beyond this door,

We're not going to go through just yet,

But this door,

Beyond this door,

We're going to go to experience a time and place in this lifetime when you needed to be present with your inner child to help them.

So you're going to find yourself on the other side of this door in an experience where something was happening in your life where your inner child needed your presence.

Now know that you are completely safe.

I am going to allow you to enter into this space in what is known as your astral self.

Your astral self is going to rise above this scene.

So no matter what you see on the other side of the door,

You will be separated emotionally and physically from whatever it is that's happening down below.

You will be able to observe and have knowing and wisdom of what it is that's needed and necessary to help you to heal in this situation that you're going to enter into.

Know that your mind is only capable of traveling into situations that you're ready for.

So know that you're safe.

Know that I'm right here with you and I will guide you and help you as much as I can in this envelope that we're in of no time and space.

I can even be holding your hand before we journey through the door.

Energetically and emotionally,

I'm your support system.

You're not alone.

We're not actually going to go through the door though.

Because we're going to enter into this regression through the astral,

We're going to rise above the door.

And that way we're in the astral looking down on a scene down below.

And you'll be able to recognize the memory that's being shown to you and know exactly what to do with it.

But I'm still going to guide you.

So when I count to three,

On one,

We're going to start to rise up off the floor.

On two,

We're going to rise up as if there's a wall that we're going over the door.

We're going over the door and we'll start to be able to see what's on the other side.

And when I say three,

You're going to find yourself safely above the situation below in your astral body,

Looking down on the scene,

Having all the wisdom and knowledge that's needed and required to help you to heal in this situation.

So I'm going to count to three.

Grab a hold of my hand if you need me,

Otherwise you've got this.

One,

Two,

Three.

Looking down on the scene.

As if you're watching a movie down below.

Find yourself as a child there in that scene.

Start to pay attention to the situation and what's happening.

Now,

Know that we can close the book on this scene at any time,

So if you're seeing something that you don't want to see,

That your mind is showing you,

Imagine that you're just turning the light off and you're completely putting that scene back in its box.

Otherwise,

If you feel ready for this,

Stay with me.

Just watch the scene down below.

Maybe there's an argument taking place,

Or maybe there's something happening in a school situation.

Whatever it is that you're seeing,

Just watch it.

You have the power to not follow my guidance at this point if you feel at any time,

Before I say it,

That you want to go down there and be with your small child self,

Then you do so.

You're the boss in this situation.

So if you feel like you already want to go down there and give yourself a hug or stop whatever it is that's happening by intercepting,

Then you can go down there.

Otherwise,

I'm going to give you one more moment,

Well,

A few more moments,

Just to look down at the scene and watch for a second.

Just watch what's happening so that you get a good idea of the way that you were feeling,

Maybe what you were thinking as a child.

You're not in the body of that child.

You're in your astral body,

But know that you will be able to maybe sense and feel emotion or anxiety or love.

You'll feel that in your physical body,

But you are separated.

You also have control in the aspect of being in your astral body.

If you rise higher,

You'll become even more separated from emotion and feeling.

So if it feels too intense for you to feel the feelings,

Go higher up.

So you're looking further away.

You're giving yourself some separation from your child self and you as the parent self,

The soul self.

You're in complete control in this situation.

You're safe.

I'm with you.

You've got this.

And now what I'm going to ask you to do is to see yourself freezing the scene,

Stopping everything in time,

As if all the little characters except your child self they're still moving.

They're still present.

Everything else around that scene is frozen.

And you're going to go down.

Allow your body to go down slowly,

Like a deflating balloon,

Slowly,

Safely coming down,

So that you can be with your child.

Be with you as that child self.

Pay attention to their age.

Pay attention to what they're wearing.

Pay attention to your little face.

Intuitively,

What do you need to say to this part of yourself that would give them the love,

The reassurance,

The knowledge that they need to be able to know that you're right there with them and you love them and whatever was happening,

Was not necessarily their fault?

What does that child need to hear?

You can sit with them.

You can put them on your lap.

You can ask them if it's okay to hold their hand.

What does this child need?

If you were your own parent,

What would you say to yourself right now?

How would you guide that child?

I'd like you to start to look at your younger self as if they're an aspect of you that's going to become your best friend.

And what I mean by that is now that you have connected with this part of yourself,

You guys are going to be friends.

You're going to be forever friends.

You're going to be there for your child self whenever he or she needs you.

And they are going to be there for you.

They're going to be there for you by giving you clues.

They're going to let you know when they need you.

So in certain situations in the future,

When something comes up,

Your inner child is going to say,

Hey,

I'm here.

I'm feeling this right now,

And I need you.

What I'd like you to establish over the next minute or two is how your inner child is going to communicate with you.

What's going to be their calling to you?

Maybe they're going to show you something.

Maybe they're going to make you feel something in your body.

Maybe they're going to give you a little sign by just saying,

Hey,

It's me.

Maybe they'd like you to call them by a certain name.

Ask them,

Would you like to be called this or that?

Maybe they'll just knock at your head and say,

I'm here.

I'm her.

I need you.

Establish a link of communication with your inner child so that they can knock at the door and say,

Hey,

I need you.

I need some love.

I need some reassurance.

I need to be heard.

I need to be seen.

I'm so angry right now.

I just need to vent.

I'm going to go quiet and let you establish your code,

Your secret handshake,

Whatever that's going to look like.

Maybe they'll look just like they look right now in your mind when they turn up.

And if they want to,

To look like this,

Remember what they're wearing.

So you see them the same every time you see them.

This will help you to establish a deeper connection with them.

If your inner child would like to be put somewhere safe before you leave,

Or if your inner child would like to shrink down and become part of you,

Maybe she wants to just be encapsulated in your heart,

Or maybe you can carry her or him in your pocket.

Or if they're okay of you saying goodbye right here,

Ask them what they would like.

In just a few moments,

You're going to leave this scene and find yourself back at the bottom of the 10 steps with your eyes still closed.

If you need to say goodbye to your inner child here,

Then go ahead and say goodbye.

Do whatever you need to do.

I'm going to count to three and you'll find yourself back at the bottom of the 10 steps.

One,

Two,

Three.

Looking up the 10 steps there in front of you,

Starting with whichever foot feels right for you,

Coming back up the steps,

Back into your present reality.

When you get up to the top of the 10 steps,

You can open your eyes and find yourself back in your space.

One,

Two,

Three.

Feel the steps underneath your feet.

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten.

Slowly opening your eyes,

Coming back into your space.

You can wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Give your neck a nice stretch.

Whatever feels good to just come back into your body.

I recommend at this point that you grab your journal and you write down the date and you write down your little experience.

Just take top notes,

You don't need to write the whole thing out.

It's a good time though to remember and establish what it is that maybe you need to work on.

What secret handshake you and your inner child have that you know in the future when things come up that they're going to let you know that you need to pay attention right now.

You need some healing right now,

Some love right now.

Write all of that down so you have a memory of it and then every time you come back and do this in a child meditation with me,

You'll find that you have a different experience.

Your mind will take you to a different place and time until you get to the point where maybe you don't need to do this meditation at all.

But up until then,

It's a good idea to take notes.

Just so you can look back for yourself.
