This is a sweet and simple guided meditation that will aid you in letting go of all that does not serve your highest good. I will guide you into a deep state of relaxation where you connect with your breath, learn to let go of destructive thoughts and emotions that hinder your well-being and feel at peace. I will end the meditation with a poem that expresses the importance of living in the here and now, and that each fleeting moment is a gift that we must fully embrace.

I invite you to settle into this time of connecting with the power of your breathing,

To detoxify and release the thoughts and feelings that do not serve your highest good,

As you let go,

One breath at a time.

Become aware now of what it feels like to be supported by the surface upon which you are resting,

Tuning into the sense of your body fully supported in this moment and my voice guiding you into a deep state of relaxation.

Just take this moment to take some cleansing breaths and in that place of releasing,

Breathe in,

Noticing the pause between the inhale and the exhale and then breathe out as you now go deeper into an awareness of the stillness that exists here at the pause between the breaths.

Breathe in and breathe out.

You are now connecting with a healing energy that begins a powerful process of letting go.

There is beauty in this sacred silence as you let go of grasping onto looping thoughts.

With each cleansing breath,

You settle into the beautiful rest of this moment.

As you let go of restless thoughts,

Your body also begins to relax and you are beginning to settle into a place of calm,

In a world that is constantly doing and not enough being.

Just allow yourself to just simply be.

In this moment,

There is nothing more you need to pursue.

Just let go and relish this moment of simply being,

Just you and your breath.

With each cleansing breath,

Your nervous system is resetting and you are opening to this blessed empty space that nourishes your spirit.

You are resting in the light of awareness and receiving its clarity as you now open to the freedom that letting go offers you.

You are infusing your mind,

Body and spirit with the light of awareness and this wisdom reminds you that distracting illusions do not belong to you and you no longer need to hold onto them.

You are letting go of all that no longer serves your highest good and you are now stepping back into your life,

Feeling lighter,

Feeling freer.

The more you let go,

The more you are able to receive.
