This short pause is for moments when relationship tension feels loud. From a 3 Principles perspective, stress and conflict soften when we see that feelings are created by thought in the moment. In less than five minutes, this reminder invites you to breathe, return to your body, and reconnect with the calm presence already within you.

Welcome.

Take a moment to pause wherever you are.

Whatever has been happening,

You are safe to be here.

Let your body soften.

Feel the support beneath you,

The ground,

The chair,

The bed.

There is nothing to hold up.

Allow yourself to rest.

Notice your breath.

You do not need to change it.

No special breathing required.

Simply notice air moving in and air moving out.

Gentle,

Natural,

Always here.

Perhaps a relationship feels heavy right now.

Maybe someone's words have stayed with you.

Maybe tension has been building.

It can seem as though the other person is the cause of what you feel.

But pause here.

Remember this.

From a three principles perspective,

Feelings come from thought in the moment.

Not from another person.

Not from their behaviour.

Not from their choices.

From thought.

Always from thought.

Take another breath.

Notice the rise.

Notice the fall.

The simple rhythm reminding you of presence.

When you see that your feeling is created inside out,

The pressure begins to ease.

You do not need to control them.

You do not need them to agree with you.

You only need to rest here.

With breath.

With body.

With presence.

Even in conflict,

There is calm underneath.

Even in tension,

There is space.

The storm of thought moves on its own.

You are the space it moves through.

You are not the storm itself.

Take one more breath with awareness.

Let the exhale release some of the weight.

Let the body soften.

Let the mind rest.

Calm is always here.

Beneath the noise.

Beneath the stories.

You can return to this truth at any time.

Simply pause.

Breathe.

Remember.

Thank you for being here.
