Hi everybody,
I hope that you're all very,
Very well today.
Our conversation today is going to be around grounding,
Coming back to the body and returning to a sense of embodiment.
The world that we live in right now has become so fragmented.
We're spending so much time on social media,
So much time on our screens,
With technology,
With AI.
Life has become really,
Really busy.
Time is speeding up.
People want our attention here,
There and everywhere.
We are diverting our awareness all over the place.
And this can leave us feeling scattered and fragmented.
And that feeling of scattered and fragmented can even lead to anxiety and stress.
And so what we want to do now more than ever is to,
On a daily basis,
Bring ourselves back into the body,
Back into connecting with the earth.
So that we don't get left feeling fragmented or anxious or stressful.
So I'm going to share with you some very very simple and accessible techniques.
And the first one is quite simply to slow down.
Yeah,
Because when we become disembodied and fragmented,
We are speeding up.
We are not operating at the frequency that our physical body needs to operate at in order for harmony,
In order for equilibrium.
And so slowing down,
Even just slowing down your movements,
So when you're walking,
Start to walk a little bit slower.
Feel the connection between your feet and the earth below you.
Speak a little bit slower.
Breathe a little bit slower.
Think a little bit slower.
Breathing techniques,
There are so many of them.
The one that I love doing is breathing in for the count of four,
Holding for the count of four,
And breathing out for the count of eight.
And I'll do that about five times,
Maybe for about a minute or so.
And just that simple practice,
Which you can do in the car or while you're walking,
Will really help to bring you back into your body.
Another very simple technique that you can do daily is get your shoes off and put your feet quite literally on the earth.
Because by doing that you are entraining your physical body back into the vibration of Mother Earth,
Into the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
Again,
When we're so in our mind and we're so connected to the air,
The communication technology.
The speeding up of life.
We're losing touch with our original heartbeat with our original rhythm which is a lot slower than that.
And what we're wanting to do is exist in harmony.
With these times.
We don't want to Ignore the fact that life is speeding up.
That's AI.
Has come in to be a part of our world.
We are spending a lot more time with technology.
But we want to learn how to coexist with that.
And so don't forget that you have a physical body and that you are connected to the earth,
Which is going to anchor you and ground you.
So yeah,
Getting your feet on the earth,
But then also if it's the middle of winter,
Or if you don't have anywhere that you can go and put your feet on the earth,
You can even just use your imagination.
Imagine that you're walking in a forest.
Imagine that you're connecting with a tree.
Think of nature.
All this will help you to reconnect to the earth,
To the grounding.
The trees are incredibly beautiful.
Powerful beings that are connected both to the skies and to the earth below.
So when you connect with trees,
And if you're able to sit with a tree,
You can sit with your back against the tree and just feel that connection between the back of your heart and the tree.
I don't know if any of you have hugged trees,
So of course you can stand in front of the tree and the front of your heart can connect with the tree.
And again,
What you're doing is you're entraining your heartbeat,
Your body,
To to the frequency of that tree.
And so it will help you to really earth and ground your body as well.
You know bonsai trees are small and short because their roots are clipped.
If those roots hadn't been kept,
They would have grown into these massive trees.
And it's the same with us.
If our roots are clipped,
In other words,
If we're not grounded,
If we're not really sending strong,
Deep roots down into the earth energetically,
What's going to happen to us is we're going to become stunted in some way.
We're not going to operate at the fullness of our being.
So really bear that in mind when you're wanting to ground yourself,
Connect with trees,
Nature,
The earth,
Etc.
Crystals can be very helpful as well.
So there are various crystals that you can use to hold.
You can hold them.
When I lived in London and I was traveling on the tube every day,
It used to leave me feeling very ungrounded and scattered.
So I used to I used to have a bag full of crystals in my pockets that I would just like hold and play with as I was on the tube and it really helped.
It really does help.
Some crystals for grounding.
Are black tourmaline or hematite or onyx.
Or I love this Labradorite.
I really love it.
It helps me to feel grounded and anchored in myself and I love that it just fits in the palm of my hand.
Choose a crystal that feels right for you for grounding.
Don't feel right for you.
Don't use them just because you've been told to use them.
Use the one that feels right for you.
There are lots of different essential oils,
Specifically things like pine.
There are also herbs that you can burn,
Like sage,
Californian white sage,
Burning palo santo,
Which is a wood from a sacred tree in South America.
Burning these types of things can help to send to you and ground you as well.
I know that when I burn them the moment I hear that smell it just automatically returns me back into my center.
Another thing that I do is I play the drum.
You don't have to play the drum,
But even just listening to a kind of a steady drum beat.
Can help you to return back to yourself because the drum reminds us of that ancient memory of the heart,
The ancient memory of the beats.
And this is what we want to do when we want to ground ourselves is to return to that heartbeat.
And look,
We got a gift from the tree above.
A leaf just fell.
In front of us to say even just holding a leaf is going to help you to remain grounded.
I'll play a few beats of the drum here.
If you want to listen to any of my drumming tracks,
I do have them online.
Anything I've left off?
I have my notes here.
So we've spoken about nature,
We've spoken about slowing down,
About breathing.
The root chakra,
So we have the seven main chakras moving up throughout the body.
The chakra that's at the base of the spine,
The root chakra,
Is the one that is most connected to the earth.
And the color for that chakra is red.
Like a deep earthy or like a blood red.
And so what you can do is you can imagine that you're able to breathe into your root chakra.
And you're breathing in a color red.
So you can imagine like this beautiful sphere of red light at your root chakra.
You can even imagine your legs are this deep red or that your legs are growing roots down into the earth.
This will really help to ground you as well.
And that just takes a minute.
Honestly,
It's as quick as that.
Yeah,
I think I've covered mostly everything.
But all these.
.
.
All these tips are very accessible.
If you would like to learn more about grounding,
If you would like to learn about your energy body or psychic development,
I do have an online psychic development course which you are welcome to join.
I send you a lot of love.
I wish you a lot of steadiness and embodiment and grounding and connecting with nature and Mother Earth and look forward to connecting with you in our next conversation.
Bye for now.
