Welcome to today's guided meditation,
Which is ideal for those times when you feel overwhelmed and you need to realign yourself.
I invite you to make yourself comfortable.
For this meditation I suggest that you sit down,
You find a seated position that feels comfortable for you,
And allow your eyes to close if that's okay,
If not lower your gaze.
And start to imagine your breath flowing in through your left nostril,
Up to the middle of your brain.
And then as you exhale,
Feel the breath gliding down from the middle of the brain,
Down through your right nostril.
And then inhale through your right nostril,
Up to the middle of your brain,
And exhale through the left.
Feel the breath gliding down.
Inhale through the left,
Hold your awareness to the middle,
To the centre of your brain.
And then exhale through the right.
Inhale through the right,
Exhale through the left.
Keep this breath flowing.
And if your mind wanders,
Return it gently to the breath.
And finish with the last breath.
And when you are ready,
Take a deep breath in,
And sighing out.
And observe how it feels to be in your body now.
Observe how this breath calms and suits you.
