Voyagers,
And welcome to our guided meditation today,
Which is called relax and let go.
Very often,
Life can feel overwhelming.
We might have loads of things to do.
And we might also be in the constant doing mode,
Constant thinking mode,
Long list of to-do lists.
And we feel like we just want to relax and let go of everything.
This meditation is for those moments where you simply want to relax.
When you are ready,
I invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
You can also lie down if you prefer.
Whatever works for you.
And allow your eyes to close.
Start to feel your breath.
And feel any tightness in your body,
Any rigidity,
Maybe any tension that is present.
And see if you can create more space here.
Maybe you can relax these areas a bit more.
Maybe you can let go of some rigidity,
Some tension.
Maybe even simply moving your body a bit.
Maybe taking your breath into these areas that feel tight,
Feel tense or rigid.
And allow as much as is possible this tension to melt away.
And start to bring your awareness to your toes.
Feel your toes and relax them.
Relax your feet.
Relax your ankles.
Call of muscles and shin bones.
Relax your knees,
Your thighs,
Your hips.
Relax the muscles of your back,
Your spine.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Letting go of responsibility that you're holding on your shoulders.
Relax your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Relax your neck and any tension that you're holding here.
Your throat,
Your throat.
Relax the back of your head,
Your crown,
Your forehead,
Your eyes.
Feel your eyes have inner socket.
Relax your cheeks,
Your lips,
Your tongue.
Feel your tongue having your mouth.
Relax your jaw bone,
Your throat,
Your chest,
Your stomach,
Your abdominal organs,
Your abdominal muscles.
Relax your sexual organs,
Perineum,
Anus.
Relax the whole of your body from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.
With each breath your body feels more relaxed,
Your mind is calmer.
Your body feels more relaxed,
Your mind feels calmer.
Any thoughts that your eyes are floating by like clouds in the sky.
And with your eyes closed,
Gazing inwards,
Allow your awareness to rest at a point of light at the centre of your head.
Relaxing into the vastness of your own being here.
And you can imagine or feel,
Visualize yourself floating in space,
Connected to the earth by a silver string of light.
And in this space that you are floating in,
You are allowing your body to heal.
You are allowing your body to relax.
You are allowing your body to align.
You are allowing your body to rejuvenate.
And you are floating,
Surrendering into this vastness,
Letting go of all control and resting within this dark void.
A space where everything is as it should be.
Everything is as it should be.
And now start to feel your whole body gliding down back to earth.
Back into your room.
Feel the earth supporting you.
And when you are ready,
Feel the breath filling your whole body.
And start to make some small movements,
Maybe wiggling your toes,
Wiggling your fingers.
And allowing your eyes to open up.
I hope you feel more relaxed,
More aligned.
