The Star Of Light

This is a talk and meditation on the mystical symbology of the Christmas Star, with a meditation that brings that star of light present to enlighten you. It's a different look at how the symbology of that Christmas star.

Aloha,

I'm Reverend Cindy Palas and I thought I'd talk about the Star of Wonder,

That star so bright.

There was such an amazing star that happened over 2,

000 years ago at Christmas time.

Of course at that time it wasn't called Christmas time.

But there really is a power and an amazing story to this star that came at the time.

It even has astrological roots to it that are very interesting that also tie in some of the story of how that light shone and how the wise men,

Who I interpret as the masters,

Came to be present.

So I'm going to go into that story and we're going to do a little talk and a meditation on that beautiful,

Powerful star.

I wrote this poem this morning.

Once upon a time,

A star so bright did shine,

Bringing a miracle to humankind,

A birth of light divine,

That guiding light to lead the wise masters to its feet as shepherds flocked to see.

Mary brought the prophecy forth to be.

Are you aware that light's still present here,

Lifting us to see how love can live eternally?

The universe aligned to bring heaven close to earth with the birth of Christ divine in the darkest times.

That light that birthed the stars brought the gift down to be ours so we can shine that cosmic light and love into our lives.

The star of wonder's mystery is a gift that set us free to be able to bring that energy if we trust enough to let it be.

In a mystical view of Christmas,

And I come from a mystical root,

I've been practicing mystical Christianity for a long time,

Which is where you make an inner contact with your inner God and connect to that Christ within and that Christ consciousness within.

In the mystical awareness,

If we were to take this a couple of ways,

Yes,

There's many historical records that there was celebrations that were held before Christianity called it Christmas,

And that indeed the Christian religion picked that date because of the pagans using that time,

Of course,

Of lighting the eulog and bringing light forth and it being the time where light came and was birthed back on earth.

It goes back into many traditions as well.

So we know that,

And we know probably according to records that it might not have really been that Jesus was born in December,

That more likely according to records it would have been spring.

But taking it in the symbolic meaning,

Of course,

That at this time,

At the time of dark despair,

The time of darkness,

That a light was born,

Which was the pagan tradition as well.

Looking at it that way,

I would like to also point out that in the Christian tradition,

Bringing Mary forth,

Which I interpret,

Of course,

Mary as the divine feminine,

We had the divine feminine able to bring forth light that was of the highest light to bring birth,

New birth that was eternal life back to earth.

So if we take that and then look also at some of the symbology of the wise men being masters,

That the masters also came at this time.

The highest teachers,

These were astrologers and the highest teachers from different places in the world coming to journey,

To the symbolic energy of the fact that this was born,

That Christ energy was born through the divine feminine in a stable,

Representing the nature of the animals,

The animal nature,

To bring us the light that we need to become enlightened and into Christ consciousness.

Now there's some other symbology that's rather interesting at this time.

Back in 5 BC,

Chinese records make note that a star was visible for more than 70 days.

Now think about that,

70 days,

That this star was like really unbelievably bright,

That the Chinese astrologers would write about this.

And this indicates it was a brilliant nova according to the records,

A star that suddenly increases in brightness.

And the masters,

The wise men undoubtedly would have interpreted that very powerful bright new star as a sign.

And they were also aware,

As many were,

That there was a prophecy that there was going to be the Messiah coming to earth.

And then there was a lot of also interesting signs happening at that time as well.

So we have a lot of signs happening that brought about this special wonder of the time.

There's many,

Many signs and symbols of Christmas that mean more than what we take them to mean right now,

Including the colors red and green,

Red being blood or the earth or the new eternal life and green being everlasting life because it's evergreens.

But I want to focus more on the star.

I happen to love stars.

I get up about 3 or 3.

30 in the morning.

The first thing I do is I go outside and look at the stars and I connect with the stars' energy.

I don't know if any of you ever do that,

But if you get up early and you look at the stars,

There is such a power there.

And I connect and think of the light,

The presence within those stars.

And if you can imagine the shepherds and the wise masters looking at this supernova,

This nova that had been shining for seven days at this amazing energy that must have been so hypnotic and powerful that it woken in them something is going on here.

And then to see that light shining down and then of course the birth of that Christ light on earth.

A very,

Very powerful symbology.

And if we were just to take that energy of that star,

That one of the most brilliant stars that shone as a supernova getting brighter and brighter over 70 days,

If we could just imagine that star when we were looking up in the skies,

Looking up and seeing that star that shone so bright,

That something was birthed in us that we could align with that powerful cosmic light.

And as I wrote in my poem,

If we could imagine what birthed that star,

The energy that created all the cosmos,

The energy that created that light within all the stars.

And even in the Buddhist tradition,

Buddha sat under the Bodhi tree and was enlightened after looking up at the sky and seeing the morning star.

Now it had been a long,

Long search for him,

But it was that moment when he sat under that tree and looked up at that star that he was enlightened.

Now can we also be illuminated and touch the energy of that enlightened cosmic consciousness of that star?

I believe yes,

We can.

And even if you follow the tradition of Buddha or if you follow any of the traditions,

That light is there within us.

That light of all lights is present because we are part of that same cosmic energy that created the stars.

We have that light within us.

We are attracted to that light of all lights.

We can align with that most powerful of lights that created the stars and the universe.

And we were told by Buddha,

We were told by Christ,

That we also could be that light and do as was done by those teachers and masters and even more.

So that light was meant to be born in us as well.

And indeed we've been facing some of the darkest times.

And isn't it time for us to call upon that light of all lights and let it shine within us?

I believe it is.

I think that light in all lightworkers and those who believe that the light can indeed illuminate the darkest places in the world,

I think that energy needs to be brought forth to shine brighter than ever right now.

Let's do a meditation and I'm going to use something that came to me about the stars energy and I'm going to do that star within you and bring that star forth within you to shine forth as bright as it did as that supernova.

So let's just take some deep clearing breaths,

Breathing in and bringing light into every single part of our body,

Breathing in that brightest of light.

And let yourself scan your head,

Your shoulders,

Your heart,

All of your organs,

Into the base root spine area,

Your legs,

Your knees.

And if you're not sitting cross-legged,

Imagine yourself that you're sitting cross-legged for this particular exercise that I'm going to do which is called the star exercise.

It's based around the energy of the star and triangles which are also a very powerful symbol.

And now for a second let's just go inside the light of lights within your heart,

Bringing in that brightest light and imagine that a star was shining forth into your heart right now.

It's very,

Very brilliant light,

The light of a thousand million stars right there in your heart of hearts.

Breathe it in and let it illuminate your entire body and allow it to go out and shine forth over six feet above you,

Below you,

Around you.

So you are indeed right now alive in that brilliant light shining like that nova did.

And just allow that energy to radiate through every single part of you and every cell of your body shining and radiating,

Healing wonderful bright light.

And now imagine each point in your shoulder.

Your right shoulder has a point of light,

Your left shoulder has a point of light,

And the base of your spine,

At the base of your spine is a point of light.

Now let's connect that light from the left shoulder to the right shoulder to the base of your spine and you have a triangle of light.

Imagine that triangle of light shining bright as a triangle from your shoulders to the base of your spine all connected with light.

Be that triangle of light facing down from your shoulders to the base of your spine.

Breathe in that energy and now imagine your hips,

Your right hip and your left hip extending way out being points of light.

And bring that point of light from your right hip and your left hip connecting it with another light and bringing another beautiful point of light up to your crown chakra.

So now you have a triangle pointing upwards from the two points of light in your hips to the triangle over your head in your crown chakra.

So now we've created a triangle going down with our shoulders to the base of our spine to a triangle going up with our hips to the crown chakra.

Now this is the beautiful triangle,

The Star of David known.

You are a six pointed triangle of upward light and downward light and a star of light right now.

Feel the energy of that star and your heart that is shining so bright in the center of that beautiful star of light.

Be that heavenly light,

The star of all stars shining so bright across the entire universe.

Breathe in that energy and now from your heart raise that light that's so bright up to that crown chakra and let's take that beautiful star of light that you are and raise it up,

Raise it up.

Let's light that star up as if you were the light on the top of a Christmas tree bringing that whole star of light to your very very top chakra,

Your crown chakra.

Now as we breathe in let's spin that light on the top of your crown chakra up to the universe to shine like that star that Nova did and let your soul light merge with that beautiful star of light and your soul and that light are one and you shine it down on the earth across the entire planet shining forth like that Christmas star bringing blessings down to the entire planet,

Bringing that light that transforms us down to earth and see the whole world radiated with that beautiful light of love.

And now let that light come back to you a hundred fold bringing again from your soul that light back down to your body,

Your mind,

Your emotions.

You are a holy divine light of love.

See that in,

Be it,

Become it and just allow it to be,

Just be that beautiful radiant star of light,

That star of wonder that shines so very bright.

And now slowly come out of meditation and have appreciation for that beautiful light and thank God for this wonderful healing energy for that creation of light that is alive in you and may you always shine that light forth so very bright.
