Aloha.

I'm Rev.

Cindy Paulus and I thought I'd talk today about how we can create programs that will teach us what is going on in life and what lessons we can learn.

Now I believe every day there are lessons to be learned.

It's a matter of us to either be receptive to them or not be receptive to them.

Now many times those inputs and those lessons we are learning come in the form of dreams at night.

And sometimes you remember the dreams and sometimes you don't.

But you can use meditation and a certain process of meditation to also accelerate your learning of the lessons that you have in life.

And it takes being able to be open.

It takes being able to be receptive and to actually ask to allow those lessons to come in.

And the process that I have been using most all of my life,

Every single day since I've been 14 years old,

Has changed a bit.

But basically I go into meditation,

As you probably do,

And I do a sweeping clearing of the mind in the process of breathing.

And breathing is such a great gift.

And you'll find as you breathe you'll become aware of how your body is right now.

I can be aware of how I'm sitting and how my alignment is.

And you become aware of how you're feeling.

You become aware in many ways of how you're feeling,

But through breath.

Is your breath a deep breath or is it a shallow breath?

You learn to be observant.

You become an objective observer.

And there's a great gift in that.

In that same process of being an objective observer,

The same way you can observe your breathing,

Is also a wonderful process in exploring what's going on in your life.

Now there's been so many things that we've been having to deal with that's going on in the outer world.

And if you watch TV,

You know what I'm talking about.

But the thing is you can do that same exploration.

It's like you're watching TV.

When you go into meditation and explore what that movie of your life is telling you.

Because you are,

When you're going within,

Able to go to that place where you can be an observer of what your life is like and what's going on.

And you can learn lessons from that.

Beautiful lessons from that.

Now one of the ways I have been doing this most all my life is by going to the soul level and being still as much as possible.

Because there will always be those clouds and thoughts that go around,

Go through your mind.

But then allowing yourself to receive.

To receive instruction from your soul,

From your higher mind.

And to be open to receive that energy in a receptive place as you come out of meditation.

Now I believe,

For me anyway,

That this takes a bit of time.

In other words,

You can do a concentrated,

Shorter meditation.

And that's okay.

But to really have a deeper connection and to really receive from your higher level of consciousness,

It takes you committing to being in that clear space for a while.

And it also takes kind of a predisposition to knowing that you are going to be doing this.

And that you're open to be able to receive the lessons,

The messages,

What may come to you after you're through meditation.

It also takes having a safe and quiet space where you don't get interrupted.

Now for that,

I find it extremely helpful to get up early in the morning and to do my meditations before the day becomes busy and before there's a lot of emails and before there's a lot of messages and phone calls and things coming in.

So it's a sacred space.

It's a sacred space that you can learn to really love.

It can be the most important part of your day.

When you develop this relationship with yourself,

It becomes so very valuable.

It's an inner conversation you have with who you are.

And that connection that is so full of clear information and lessons and love and light that can come to you,

That you can find it a wonderful way to learn.

Now for me,

I've been doing this as poetry that comes every day.

And I've been doing thousands and thousands and thousands of poems because I do it every day.

But the nice thing about that is then I take those,

I go and review them sometimes when I'm getting ready to do a new album.

And I take those and make those into a CD,

An album.

Maybe not so much CDs now because no one's doing CDs anymore.

So I make it into an album and I find music from people I know who have music and put music underneath it.

And that way I create something that is a reflection of some of my points that I go through in meditation.

I can share it.

Now I found various valuable things that happen when you know you're going to be doing this.

You learn to expect it.

Your higher self learns to expect it.

And you develop this very deep inner relationship that is a teacher,

An inner teacher,

A deep,

Deep,

Deep,

Deep,

Deep inner teacher.

A teacher that loves to communicate with you.

Now many of you might have and do experience this same energy and teaching that goes through your sleep process and your dream process,

Right?

Because that is a similar process that happens at night.

When you dream,

You're letting your higher conscious,

Subconscious and other realms of your consciousness and be released to you.

But sometimes it's interesting how that happens.

Sometimes you remember it and sometimes you don't.

But doing it in a meditation form is more of a conscious communication,

Not a subconscious communication.

It's a higher consciousness communication with your consciousness.

And that then develops this clear channel,

This beautiful,

Beautiful channel that speaks to you and you listen.

And then you also,

By writing it down,

Have it coming into your different levels of beingness in your awareness.

And it is then a beautiful relationship that develops between your higher consciousness and your consciousness.

So I thought it might be helpful to go through a little bit of the process of how this works in meditation.

So let's just go into meditation and allow yourself to breathe deeply and clearing anything out.

Ah,

Knowing the breath sweeps mind,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Ah,

Just relaxing and feeling what's going on in your body and in your mind and allow yourself to do a body scan as you're breathing.

And how is your head?

How is your whole area around your head,

Your eyes,

Your nose,

Your breathing,

Your ears,

Around your jaws?

Ah,

Just releasing any tension.

Your face holds a lot of tension.

So let that hold all of that energy in the face.

Just release,

Relax,

Let it go.

Go into your neck area where a lot of tension can be stored as well.

Just see how you're doing on your neck area.

Just,

Ah,

Release,

Release,

Release any tension in your neck.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Coming into your heart.

Ah,

Just says,

Yeah,

Feel,

Feel that heart.

Oh,

That heart has so much going on in the feelings,

Right?

And what do you feel in that heart area?

Allow it to be awakened and go to the heart of your heart,

That inner space within.

Allow your heart to speak to you.

What would your heart tell you?

Allow that inner energy in the heart of your heart to be present.

Ah,

Just allow it to be here now.

And just be with that wonderful heart energy and allow it to speak to your conscious mind.

Conscious mind.

Develop a little line of communication between your heart and your brain and your body.

Letting love guide that direction.

Ah,

Being with that lovely energy and letting it speak to you now.

Ah,

What would your heart have you know?

Allow the words and energy forms to come to you.

Breathing it in and allowing it to speak to you.

Breathe again,

Allowing that presence to be here now.

Know that you're going to be coming out of this space and time and write it down,

Writing what you have that are some of the seed thoughts that come to you in this space and time.

And slowly come out of meditation,

Just feeling good,

Feeling present,

Feeling aware,

Thanking yourself for taking this time to allow your inner self to speak to you.

Ah,

And just allow yourself to be aware of some of those thoughts.

The images,

The words that might have come to you.

And as you come out of meditation,

Take the time to write down in any form,

It could be spoken word or handwritten,

Some of the messages that have come to you.

And just let those words flow.

It may just be a few words when you start,

You may not even know you even have words,

But once you allow that communication to direct you with that inner faith,

Knowing that there is this communication,

You will find that you get a communication,

That you get a communication,

An actual conversation that comes to you from your higher self.

And the more you do this,

The more you know that you're going to program yourself to do this,

The more that comes to you,

The more that channel is open to you.

Now,

I can tell you,

This is a beautiful,

Beautiful exchange of energy that comes in many ways,

In many beautiful ways.

You learn to be aware of what there is inside you that needs to be listened to,

And to be heard,

To be learned from.

So I encourage you to take some time to do that.

Slowly,

I'm going to come out of meditation,

And I thank you and your higher self,

And all that energy that's present that will speak to you in its own beautiful way.

And I say thank you.
