The purpose of this meditation is for you to get clear on your intentions for the year and purposely create the experiences of your life. The more clear you are on what you want to experience, the places you want to visit, the relationships and growth you want to have - the more it can align for you to happen. Welcome to today's Start of a New Year meditation.

Find yourself in a comfortable seat,

Sit bones rooted down,

Spine nice and elongated.

Allow your heart to be open as you're sitting tall,

Your chin to be lifted,

And allow your face to start to soften.

Let the jaw soften,

Space between your eyebrows to soften.

So you're sitting tall,

Allow your palms to face upward.

Taking on this gesture of receiving,

Allowing yourself to be open.

Allow breath to start to flow in through the nose,

Back out of your nose as you allow the eyes to close down.

Soften your gaze down towards your lap,

Allowing yourself to just find stillness here,

Focusing on the breath.

Simply breathing in through the nose,

Letting the breath flow back out of your nose.

What intentions have you set for the year ahead?

Allow yourself to say them out loud or in your head,

Affirming your intentions and just start to let your intentions fill up your space.

With the intentions that you've set,

How would you like this year to look for you?

Imagining it to be the best year of your life yet.

With your eyes closed,

Start to picture a ball of golden light in front of you.

This golden light is warm,

It feels familiar,

It's powerful,

And it holds your intentions.

Start to imagine the things that you want to experience in this new year.

As you're visualizing these specific experiences,

The places that you want to visit,

The people that you want to meet,

The connections that you want to make,

The friendships and romantic relationships that you want to have,

The business that you want to build,

Or the dream job that supports you.

Enjoying all of the abundance that you're bringing in for your life.

This golden light is following you to each different experience.

As you start to feel deeper into each experience,

Allow yourself to begin to notice sounds,

Notice smells,

Start to feel joy on your face,

The blissful feeling in your heart.

Feel into the excitement of what it is like to be where you want to be,

Doing what you want to be doing.

As you're feeling deeper into these experiences,

Allow the golden light to start to expand.

As the golden light expands,

You allow yourself to drop in deeper and to feel more.

Your intentions for the new year are radiating around you as you're living out your perfect year in your mind's eye.

Take the next few moments to visualize,

To feel,

And to expand more into what you want to experience this year.

Take a moment to realize,

To feel,

And to expand more.

Take a moment to realize,

To feel,

And to expand more.

Take a moment to realize,

To expand more.

To expand more.

Take a moment to realize,

To expand more.

Take a moment to realize,

To expand more.

Wrapping up what you're experiencing and how this year has happened for you,

Just as you wanted,

Slowly start to come back into your awareness.

Allow your breath to deepen.

Begin to make subtle movements within the body,

Your fingers,

Your toes,

Movement within the face,

The nose.

While still holding on to the feelings of joy,

Bliss,

Happiness,

Peace,

Love,

Abundance,

And any other positive emotion that you might have felt during this meditation.

Knowing that these feelings are always there for you to tap back into and you're encouraged to keep visualizing how you want the year to play out until it aligns for you in real life to experience.

Take a deep collective breath in through your nose,

Fully releasing out of your mouth,

And begin to return to the room.
