Come into a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Allow your body to feel supported by the surface underneath you.
Allow your shoulders to soften,
Your face to begin to relax,
Your eyes to gently close,
And your jaw to release any tension that you might be holding onto.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling your low belly,
Ribs,
And chest with air.
Pause at the top of your inhale breath,
And then exhale fully through your mouth.
Again,
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Fill your low belly,
Ribs,
And chest with air.
Pause at the top of your inhale breath,
Then exhale fully through your mouth.
One final round,
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Fill your low belly,
Ribs,
And chest with air.
Pause at the top of your inhalation,
Then exhale fully through your mouth.
As a highly sensitive person,
You have the gift of feeling things more deeply,
Of processing more consciously,
Of seeking out how to find answers to things that others might just turn their head to.
You want to feel your emotions and allow your sensitivity to be a strength rather than feel like a weakness.
This meditation is to ease you into the present moment,
To reduce overwhelm,
Anxiety,
Or burnout you might be experiencing from the world around you.
Coming into the sensations you're currently feeling in your body,
Notice if there are any areas that are holding tension.
As you take a deep breath in,
Begin to imagine a golden light starting to glow over top of this area that's holding any discomfort.
As you picture this golden light,
Imagine it illuminating and expanding,
Totally encompassing any area of the body that's feeling any sensation of dis-ease as a compensation for any stress,
Burnout,
Or overwhelm that you might be experiencing in your life.
Allowing this golden light to absorb any of these feelings that are being held onto in the body.
Visualize the orb of light growing as any feelings of overwhelm,
Anxiety,
Or burnout dissipate within you.
Taking a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs with air.
Picture this golden orb of light expand to its fullest capacity.
And as you exhale,
Imagining the orb of light gently disintegrating,
A symbolization of release.
Releasing any feelings of overwhelm,
Anxiety,
Or burnout that you might have been holding onto.
You are now in a state of peace,
Wholeness,
And feeling rejuvenated.
Knowing that you are completely safe in this moment.
Reminding yourself that your sensitivity is a gift.
It is an honor to be a highly sensitive person.
You have the ability to lead,
To heal,
To make a real difference in the world just by being who you truly are.
Your ability to hold empathy,
To care deeply,
To pay attention to the smallest details,
To be a good listener.
Your willingness to help others,
To sense deeply is so,
So needed in the world.
You are here to shine your light.
To be the one who leads a different path.
Begin to imagine yourself.
Working in a job or owning a business that you love.
Helping others while feeling safe and comfortable in your own space.
Imagining a life where your energy is cherished,
Appreciated,
And loved.
Seeing yourself surrounded by beautiful people who love and support you for who you really are.
Setting clear boundaries that support your personal needs.
