Our journey today begins with the topic of healing.
Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable seated shape.
Today we will be working with a visualization meditation.
Noticing your breath as you settle into your space.
Seeing if you can begin to follow each inhale and then each exhale.
No need to alter or change the breath,
But allow it to do so naturally as you drop deeper into your practice.
Pay attention to your belly and your lungs,
Expanding with each inhale and softening with each exhale.
Breathe in.
.
.
And exhale,
Letting your body relax.
Breathe deeply.
.
.
Exhale,
Let any worrisome thoughts just fade away.
Inhale,
Filling your body with as much oxygen as you can.
.
.
And exhale,
Let the air escape from your body,
Relaxing you even further.
Bringing your awareness to your third eye chakra,
The point between your brows.
.
.
Allow yourself to bring into this mind space a small,
Hand-built fountain.
Your fountain can look like anything.
.
.
And I want you to name this fountain the Fountain of Relaxation.
It is built in a way that the water level is waist-high and easy for you to access.
Maybe there is a sculpture that the water comes out from,
Splashing down into the basin.
.
.
Or perhaps the water just shoots up and out in a beautiful way.
However you see this fountain,
Picture it very vividly,
In as much detail as you can.
As your awareness focuses in on the water,
You notice that it's crystal clear.
.
.
But it also seems to glow with a golden light.
Touch your hand to the side of the fountain and feel the way it is built and how sturdy it is.
Now dip your fingertips into the golden water.
As soon as you do,
You feel a profound relaxation running through the fingers.
Now dip your entire hand in this healing water.
The pleasure that this water brings you is so wonderful that you must have more.
So gather some in your right hand and splash it onto your left forearm.
Gathering some more,
You cover your upper arm and shoulder.
The moisture on your skin is glistening in the sunlight,
Similar to how diamonds reflect light.
Now do the same with your left hand.
Allow the fingertips to gently touch the golden water.
Then dipping in your whole hand.
.
.
Scooping the water with your left hand and soaking your right arm with it.
Grabbing some more as you coat the arm all the way to the right shoulder.
The water is not only extremely soothing,
But its appearance is stunning.
You cup both hands together and gather some of this glowing substance in your hands.
Gathering as much as you can and watching it slip through your fingers just a little.
.
.
Spilling over the edges of your hand.
And then this time you bring the water to your mouth for a drink.
As the water touches your lips,
It's sublime.
The water is heavenly.
It nourishes you.
It relaxes you.
Take another handful.
Drink some more.
This time gather one more handful and splash it onto your face.
Notice how the water seems to wash away all the worries you've ever carried in your facial expressions over the years.
Notice how you feel.
Take time to just relax near this fountain.
Feel completely free and clear and open-minded.
Allow yourself to experience any special messages that you have been needing to hear as you gently and kindly open to anything.
Perhaps you invite yourself to rest in the water or by the water's edge.
Maybe you see yourself splashing in the water or coating it all over the body.
If there's somewhere in you that is really seeking this healing energy,
Perhaps you bring the water specifically to that area,
Whether it's a physical healing,
An emotional one near the heart,
Or again drinking the water,
Splashing it on your face.
Take several deep breaths as you invite this healing golden water to wash over you and through you.
Whenever you are ready,
Take another full deep breath and become aware of the present moment.
Knowing now that you are ready to take on the rest of your day.
Allow the fountain to fade from the mind's eye,
Perhaps giving a soft blink through the eyes,
Noticing your surroundings and your space.
Revisit this healing energy whenever you need and carry it with you throughout your day.
Thank you for joining me for today's practice.
Namaste.
