
Intuition And Gratitude - Gifts Of The Universe

You are invited to explore gratitude in a deeper way that opens you up to receiving intuitive guidance and connection with the Universe, Spirit, The Infinite, or whatever you call that "Something Bigger" than you and I. So the meditation,
The theme for today is gratitude beyond gifts.
And we're talking about all the gifts.
The gifts that we can see,
The things that we can't see,
The things that we hear,
The things that we don't hear.
So we're even going to lean into intuition a little bit today.
That gift of the universe,
Of your higher self,
Of that deeper self that's always there with us.
So beginning with gratitude,
Let's take a breath together.
Breathe in deeply.
Allow a feeling of gratitude just for being able to have a breath right now.
To well up within.
Let's take a second deep breath in and we'll hold it this time.
And as we're holding it,
Do any wiggles or shifting and just allow your body to settle into this moment.
Notice any sensations that you have from holding that breath.
And then as you exhale,
Allow your body to release all tension.
Bringing us perfectly into this here and now.
Let's take a third symbolic final deep breath in and we'll hold it again.
I invite you to allow a feeling of gratitude to start right in the center of your being,
Right in your chest,
Right in your heart space.
And emanate out throughout all your physical being,
All your mental being,
And your energetic being.
And as you relax,
If you're comfortable meditating with your eyes closed,
Just allow them to gently close if you haven't already.
If not,
That's cool too.
Whatever you like to do with your eyes is perfect.
So let's begin by deepening our relaxation.
We're going to use that breath as our anchor,
As our focal point.
Recognizing where the breath begins,
Sensations in the body as our chest rises or our belly pushes out.
That moment that it switches from an inhale to an exhale.
And then as it leaves the body,
To do it all over again.
We're going to continually bring our attention back to this.
But each time we do,
Let's add another layer of gratitude to that breath.
So that universe is working through us.
So as we breathe in,
Let's recognize how the lungs know how to operate to continually bring that rejuvenating,
Refreshing oxygen to our body.
And it perfectly knows how to expel the air when we're done with it.
And how the lungs and the circulatory system take that oxygen,
Put it into a form that the blood can distribute it throughout our entire body.
And then as it returns it back through the heart and back to the lungs,
It brings back that spent up oxygen as carbon dioxide.
And this intelligence underneath us is always moving through us.
So each breath in,
Allow that to take us deeper into a sense of deep appreciation for this perfect system that the universe,
That our bodies,
That spirit,
Our deeper nature is always working through us.
Allowing each breath to be a drop of liquid gratitude in this bigger bucket that we are filling up right now in this present moment.
Recognizing all the things going on within our body,
That heartbeat that's constantly going without us having to do anything to do it,
To tell it that.
All the cells that are constantly coming into being,
Living their lives,
Ending,
Being replaced by more.
This perfect system,
Very much like the human race,
Very much like all life,
Constantly coming into existence,
Experiencing,
And ending its physical experience for that energy to go on in another way.
What a truly magical universe we are a part of.
Keeping our focus on that breath,
Recognizing the magic system that is,
Let's allow that gratitude to bring a sense of relaxation to our body.
Each breath that we take in relaxes us from the very tip of our scalp,
Through our forehead,
Through our cheeks,
Cascading down throughout our body,
Through our neck,
Our shoulders,
Our arms,
Out through our fingertips,
Our chest,
Our lower back,
Stomach.
Just flushing all tension away,
Relaxing more and more deeply into this moment as this cleansing,
Rejuvenating breath heals and soothes our body,
Going through our waist,
Our glutes,
Our hands,
Our quads,
Down through our knees,
Our calves,
Our ankles,
The tops of our feet,
The bottoms of our feet,
Out through those toes,
Just bringing a perfect spiral of energy and rejuvenation,
Relaxation,
The top of our body out.
There's this underlying intelligence that responds to our intention and to our thoughts.
By inviting deeper relaxation,
By noticing where we might be holding tension,
We relax this body more deeply through this perfect intelligence.
So where this body picks up on this information,
This know-how,
So does our mind.
All day long,
Throughout our days,
We are continually receiving thoughts,
Impresses,
Inspirations,
Ideas come to us,
Sometimes in the form of desires,
Sometimes in the form of pressing needs.
All the time,
Our mind is active,
Sometimes completely active on its own,
It can run and run without any direction.
Other times as we're focusing on an issue at hand,
We are directing that mind,
Following processes that we have learned,
Which brings up an opportunity for more appreciation,
More gratitude,
What an amazing system this thinking mind is.
Going further,
Deeper within,
Filling into our heart space from this place of appreciation.
I like to bring to mind those moments when maybe the solution to a challenge eludes us,
Or when we are trying to remember what it is that we need to do,
Or who we need to contact,
Something that we're just not quite able to figure out on our own.
And notice how there's this underlying intelligence that when we're able to let go of the forcing,
When we realize we're not going to be able to think the answer into the existence that when we let go,
Very often that idea,
The perfect solution or answer appears seemingly out of nowhere.
This is that even deeper mind,
Gratitude beyond the gifts which we are a part of.
Let's take a moment now and allow our mind to open up without any forcing or direction,
Simply being open at the top,
Willing to receive and just feel gratitude for anything that flows through our mind right now.
Maybe there's something that our intuition,
Our deeper self knows that we are seeking an answer to.
Whether there is or there isn't,
Let's allow a moment to simply experience appreciation in this here and now.

Now judging and coming from that same place of appreciation deep in the center of your chest,
I invite us to recognize that all life,
All energy,
All that exists is all coming from the same one source.
So in that same way that our bodies are in operation through this deeper underlying gratitude,
Let's open up to that feeling of appreciation for all life on this planet at this time,
Recognizing that we are each in our own unique places and that as we bring our appreciation,
Awareness and gratitude to that all,
From that place within us,
That center of our chest,
Our heart space,
That we are opening up and connecting with this underlying one consciousness that connects us all.
As we do that,
We create more of this sense of peace that we feel within.
We allow that to extend around us,
Beyond us,
Until it encircles the entire globe.
Let's bring a gentle smile on your face if that feels appropriate.
Allow this feeling of gratitude and appreciation,
One last swell within your chest,
Sending that idea,
That vision out all around this entire planet as it circles back into you,
Continuing in this loop that the more we send out,
The more it returns,
Creating more peace,
More gratitude,
More abundance and appreciation on this planet right now.
And that as we do this,
It creates that very energy in which everyone receives more and more.
So acknowledging this infinite intelligence within us,
Invite us to bring our attention back into the space now,
Feeling refreshed,
Rejuvenated and ready for whatever comes next in our day.
So with one more centering,
Closing breath,
When you're ready,
Allow your eyes,
Your attention to return to this space now.
