A Grounding Meditation To Connect To Your Chakras

Allow yourself 5 minutes to center yourself by connecting to each of your 7 Chakras. We will go through and pause at each one as we focus on the charkas' power and utilize focusing on the breath to bring harmony to the body and mind.

Welcome.

We will begin seated with the legs crossed,

Eyes closed,

Palms of the hands facing down on the knees for grounding.

Take a moment to settle yourself.

Start to notice your breath.

Be aware of the breath as it fills the body,

Pauses,

And then leaves the body on the exhale.

Notice any and all sensations in the body as the cycles of breath repeat.

The breath slows and softens with each round of breath.

Soft breath in,

Cleansing breath out.

Observe how the earth is supporting your seat,

Keeping you steady.

Your root chakra at the base of your spine grounds you to the earth,

Steady and stable.

Fresh breath in,

Exhale all that does not serve you.

Move your hands from your knees to your abdomen.

Your sacral chakra and solar plexus chakras are now underneath your hands.

Feel the breath with your hands.

Feel the prana moving inside your body with each breath.

The hands bring more awareness to your breath and make you see that even in stillness,

The body and your energy is ever moving.

Notice the pleasure of a fresh breath.

Allow yourself to have empathy for yourself in this meditation practice.

Joyous breath in,

Relaxed breath out.

Keeping your hands here at your abdomen,

Harness your willpower,

Your motivation from your solar plexus chakra.

Keeping your focus centered and grounded.

Strong breath in,

Powerful breath out.

Move your hands over your heart,

Your heart chakra.

Notice if you can feel your heartbeat with your hands.

Feel the breath move in your chest.

Have gratitude for this life and this body.

Inhale,

Compassion for yourself.

Exhale,

Love.

Gently move your hands to your throat.

Your throat chakra leads you to speak your truth,

Your desire to hear the truth.

Gentle breath in,

Gentle breath out.

Move your hands to your forehead,

Placing them over your third eye chakra.

You are perceptive,

Your intuition real.

Knowing breath in,

Peaceful breath out.

Lastly,

Place your hands on the crown of your head,

Over your crown chakra.

The breath comes and goes with ease.

You are connected to the universe.

Moving your hands back to heart center and a prayer position.

You are grounded to the earth,

Yet almost floating.

Your energy is light.

Inhale,

Gratitude.

Exhale,

Resilience.
