The Universe has granted us all infinite wisdom and knowingness. However, in our society, we are often encouraged to do so much and distract ourselves from our ability to hear and listen to our intuition. Utilize this short meditation to focus on quieting the mind, listening to your breath, and balancing your Third Eye Chakra.

Welcome,

This is a meditation to cultivate alignment of the third eye chakra and promote being in touch with your intuition.

Make your way into a comfortable seat using any props to make yourself more comfortable in your sitting pose.

Feel seated and settled into your shape,

Close your eyes.

Begin to scan the body for sensations.

Perhaps noticing the earth or surface beneath you,

Supporting your sitting position.

Feel the length of your spine extending both upward towards the sky and downward towards the earth.

Observe the sensations received from the placement of your hands,

Whether resting them on your knees,

Lap,

Or perhaps the hands are together in a prayer position with the thumbs pressing into your third eye,

That space between the brows.

Sense the position of the shoulders,

Make any adjustments for them to be relaxed.

Placing the tongue on the roof of the mouth so the jaw is at ease.

Notice the eyes resting heavy in their sockets and witness the calm breath flowing in and out of the body.

Those are focal points of energy in the body,

Which run up the length of your spine to the crown of the head.

This energy system corresponds with both physical and emotional functions in the body.

Soft breath in,

Soft breath out.

The Anja Chakra,

The third eye chakra,

Is located at that point between the eyebrows.

This chakra represents your unconscious mind.

It's associated with your intuition,

Your perception,

And your knowingness.

When the chakra is overactive,

Your mind can swirl into overanalysis and when underactive,

Clouded.

How many of us are out of touch with our intuition when we should be trusting our own knowingness?

It's okay to trust your perceptions,

But what if we aren't listening to our intuition because there's too much noise?

The practice of meditation can teach us to quiet the noise so the voice of our inner knowingness can be heard.

Continue to witness the soft breath flowing in and out of the body,

Allowing the sound waves to penetrate us.

And as we listen and experience the stream of inhales and exhales,

Focus your prana,

Your energy on the point of your third eye.

Aware the mind,

Knowing thoughts will always enter and leave your attention.

And continually refocus your breath and refocus that energy of the third eye.

The breath flows like waves on the ocean,

Continually flowing in and out.

And as you breathe full deep breaths and release slow and steady exhales,

Trust that your third eye will show you what you need to see.

Enjoy the quiet waves of breath,

Feeling them flowing within the body.

The less you do,

The more you will see over time.

Feel the energy flow up from the heart and lungs to your third eye.

Allow that energy to swirl there.

Feel an alertness of the mind.

Breath calm and steady with a natural attentiveness.

Hear soft breaths,

Bring clarity of mind.

Trust in your profound wisdom.

Listen to your body.

Feel what your body wants you to feel.

As we are part of the universe,

We share that divine wisdom.

We only need the quiet to be able to hear it.

Please move them there now and press the thumbs into your Anja chakra.

Allow the wisdom of your third eye to guide you.

You already have inside of you all that you need to know.
