Hello and welcome.
My name is Sinead and in this meditation I'm guiding you through a practice designed to alleviate stress,
Worry or doubt for those of you with a small business.
If you haven't already done so,
Please find yourself a comfortable seat,
Your spine straight,
Your back supported and gently close your eyes.
The first thing I invite you to do is to bring to mind the thing that is causing you the stress or the worry or the doubt and rate it in terms of its intensity on a scale of one to ten,
With ten being the most intense.
Once you have your score,
Simply let that number go and shift your focus to your breath.
Take some time to lengthen your breath,
Breathing with intention,
Allowing your breath to become your focus.
And as you breathe,
Either silently or out loud,
Declare your intention to clear the stress,
The worry,
The doubt,
To welcome a sense of peace.
Go ahead and set your intention now.
I invite you to connect with your heart now.
Place your hand over the center of your chest and imagine that your breath is moving in and out through your heart center,
Breathing in for four counts and out for six counts.
And as you breathe,
As you breathe,
I invite you to repeat after me.
I now release all of my emotional attachments to anything and everything that may get in the way of my peace.
I let go of all resistance that I may be holding.
I release stress.
I release worry.
I release doubt.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Relax your hand.
Return it to your lap.
Sense now that you are breathing breathing into a soft,
Powerful ball of energy emanating from your heart center.
Feel it expand and allow yourself to merge with this loving and nurturing energy,
Allowing it to enfold you completely.
This is the power of your heart's intuitive intelligence.
Feel the depth,
The peace,
The nurturing.
Allow yourself to gently,
Peacefully,
And effortlessly surrender into the deep wisdom and the love of this energy.
As you expand effortlessly into this energy,
You are love,
That love that is unconditional.
You might even sense that you are floating,
Bathing in this energy,
Sensing love and forgiveness at every level of your being.
Forgiveness is finding every hiding place in your body and every cell releases its reasons for blame,
Shame,
And guilt.
Here there is forgiveness of self and all else.
There is understanding and deep wisdom of all you have ever experienced.
And you surrender into this place of perfect truth,
Eternal divine truth.
Here you are connecting with your own divine power.
Allow yourself to be present to the deep stillness that is available.
And in this stillness,
This sacred space,
You might sense,
Hear,
Feel,
Or know the wisdom of your intuitive intelligence.
I'm going to give you some time here to allow you to receive whatever it is that you need to know.
It may be brief,
It may be detailed.
Either way,
This is your time now to receive.
When you feel ready,
And only when you feel ready,
Start to become aware of your body once more.
Thank your body for all it does.
Begin to deepen your breath,
Breathing with awareness.
Very gently stretch and move your body.
Before you open your eyes,
I invite you to consider your initial challenge that you rated on a scale of 1 to 10.
Rate it again now,
With 10 being the most intense.
And it is my great hope that that number has come down for you.
As you are ready,
Taking whatever taking whatever time that you need,
Gently open your eyes.
Look around at the colors and the shapes of your environment.
Take a sip of water,
If that is available to you.
Take up your pen and journal,
And take a few moments now to note your insights.
You might like to record your scores,
Perhaps anything that you received,
Wisdom or guidance.
And know that you can return to this practice at any time.
But for now,
It is time for us to part ways.
Be gentle and kind to yourself,
And return to this practice as often as you like.
