This 3-minute meditation is designed to help us feel more grounded in the present moment. Close your eyes and be guided to easily and effortlessly move into feeling calm, present, and relaxed. This practice can be done at any moment during the day, whenever your heart desires stillness.

Transcript

If you have not already done so,

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and let it go with a sigh.

Breathing in again and letting it go.

One more time,

Breathing in and on the exhale letting go,

Letting go,

Letting go.

Let your heart expand,

Breathing in and out of your heart.

Imagining that your breath carries with it a beautiful light.

Noticing the colour of the light as you continue to breathe.

Perhaps you may sense that light moving through your body,

Into the heart,

To the top of your head,

To the tips of every finger and every toe.

Opening your heart and allowing the light in.

As you deepen your breath,

You open yourself up to receive in this glorious moment.

Allow the breath to lengthen.

Allow your body to relax.

Allow your mind to become still.

Taking another deep breath in and then letting that breath go with an audible sigh out through your mouth.

Letting go,

Letting go,

Letting go.
