This is a Metta Love and Kindness Meditation.
Have your spine straight,
Relax your shoulders,
Your arms,
Lay your hands pressed on your thighs,
Palms facing upwards.
Adjust your chin and start breathing consciously.
Exhale slowly and deeply,
Hold,
Exhale slowly and deeply,
Peacefully,
Inhale,
Hold,
Exhale,
Like waves in the ocean,
That's how your tummy feels,
Inhale,
A sense of cleansing,
Exhale,
Relax.
Continue breathing deeply,
Slowly,
At your own pace,
Focusing on that air that comes in,
That goes out,
Perhaps noticing how parts of your body start relaxing a bit more.
Now bring to your mental screen a picture of yourself,
A happy picture of yourself,
Now,
When you were younger,
Whatever you want,
And send the intention,
The message to that image.
May you be happy,
May you be healthy and strong,
May you live with ease,
Free of suffering.
There it is,
Let's clean that mental screen and bring somebody neutral,
Somebody you see often or somebody you never see,
You saw yesterday at the cashier,
Somebody like that,
And again,
In your mental screen and affirm,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy and strong,
May you live a life with ease,
Free of suffering.
And now clean that mental screen and let's bring somebody else,
Somebody who perhaps you had some issues,
Some friction,
Some tensions in your relationship,
See that person in your mental screen and let's affirm,
Say with intention,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy and strong,
May you live a life with ease,
Free of suffering.
And so it is,
Let's clean that mental screen and lastly,
In that mental screen you visualize the earth and all sentient beings in the earth,
The earth itself,
And let's say,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy and strong,
May you live a life with ease,
Free of suffering.
And clean that mental screen,
Hold your hands in prayer position in front of your heart,
Continue with your conscious breathing,
Connect with how you feel,
Imagine yourself in this big,
Huge ball of white light,
Radiant,
Strong,
In harmony,
Full of love and wisdom.
