Sweet love,
I hear you,
I feel you.
I know that right now it seems like there is nothing golden,
There is nothing bright.
There is a part of you that so desperately wants to do,
To be,
To become.
And yet here you are,
Stuck,
Alone,
Ashamed.
Breathe deep my love,
This shame will not kill you.
Let yourself feel it,
Down to your toes,
And know that even while you are surrounded,
While you are submerged in these terrible feelings of shame,
You are not alone,
You are not broken.
You don't need to be better,
You don't need to be good.
You are human my love.
And sometimes to be human means to feel pain.
Open your heart now,
Make space for the pain.
Breathe in,
Surround it.
Open yourself and know that there is room enough.
And as you open,
As you expand,
As you allow,
The pain will move through.
Shame is sticky,
But it doesn't stay forever.
Let it move through you now.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Let it go.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Let it go.
As the shame leaves you,
Notice that there is something else.
There is something else underneath the pain,
A spark,
A glowing ember,
A jewel.
That is the truth,
The truth of you.
The part of you that knows that you are loved,
That you are worthy,
That you are welcome.
The part of you that feels belonging and safety and joy.
Open and allow that part of you in.
Imagine if you could blowing on that ember,
Allowing it to grow,
Feeding it with your breath.
Let your body be consumed with that love,
Acceptance,
Belonging.
You are safe,
You are whole,
You are allowed to be all that you are.
Let yourself feel that.
Let yourself know that.
Keep breathing my love.
Let the tears fall if they will,
They are cleansing you.
Place your hand on your heart and tell that part of you,
You are no longer alone.
I am with you.
I hear you.
I see you and I will not leave you.
That's the truth.
Open and allow that part of you to be consumed with that love,
Acceptance,
Belonging.
