This talk/meditation gives you two positive ways of viewing your money wisdom. It can feel heavy dealing with finances, and there can be a feeling of lack in power and control. One way to support that lack of control and power is through empowerment and realizing your money intelligence. In the practice we go through a journaling prompt (please have a pen and paper) to explore your money knowledge that you already have obtained. We will look at the experiences and money lessons you have learned previously and find value in them, there is a 10 minute musical break for you to reflect and journal on this. Then we will focus through visualization and feelingization on feeling empowered moving forward on your money knowledge journey. Knowledge is power, and this is a great way to empower yourself. By the end of the practice you will feel more empowered, have greater belief in yourself, and hopefully a more positive view and less stress in your money knowledge.

Welcome.

This talk and meditation gives you two positive ways of viewing your money wisdom.

It can feel heavy dealing with finances and there can be a feeling of lack in power and control.

Let's lighten some of those heavy feelings and bring back a sense of power to you.

You already have great money sense.

I don't want you to forget that you have a lifetime of experience with money already.

Whatever you have done in the past is vital information for you moving forward.

You have learned at times things that work well for you and things that do not work well for you.

You are a money bank of wisdom and knowledge in the field of money.

Even if everything you've ever done with money has ended up not working for you,

This is a wealth of information as it tells you what is not working.

That means it's time to try something differently for you.

Let's take some time to reflect and journal.

If you have a pen and paper about your current knowledge on what does and does not work for you in terms of having a healthy relationship with money,

Feel free to go all the way back to your childhood.

For example,

A memory that comes up for me is making crafts at a young age of eight.

I was folding and putting together these pretty little paper fans and selling them to my family members at my hallway market.

I loved making the crafts,

And I loved the idea that there would be an exchange for them,

That I would be receiving something back,

Possibly.

I made enough money to buy myself a chocolate bar,

And wow,

Did I appreciate and enjoy that chocolate bar.

It was well worth the effort.

Through this small experience,

I learned that I can make money doing something I love.

That shaped my whole path forward in life,

Encouraging me to make money in ways that bring me joy.

To me,

This is a positive memory with money that instilled money knowledge in me.

Another memory on the negative side that informed me was maxing out my credit cards consistently.

Every month,

I would receive my bill and be extremely stressed,

Sad,

And anxious because I wasn't able to pay it off.

I learned that this feeling can be prevented if I learned how to manage and spend within my means.

And that's something I carry forward with me today,

Paying off my credit cards in full each month,

Being sure I have the ability to pay it off and avoid those heavy feelings of feeling powerless.

I hope these stories inspire you a little bit to reflect on your past with money,

And reflect on some of the knowledge nuggets that you have gained.

I'm going to give you 10 minutes now to reflect on the knowledge from your past,

We can call it your street smarts,

So to say,

With your first-hand experience with money.

Try to have an objective perspective.

If you feel you're getting stressed or emotional,

Just zoom out and take some deep breaths.

We are simply observing your current knowledge based on your past experiences without judgment.

We are digging for buried treasures hidden within your past that you may not have realized are there.

Let's do this exercise now.

Wonderful.

If you need more time,

Just pause the recording and continue.

How was this practice for you?

Were you surprised to find some nuggets of money knowledge?

Or possibly that you have knowledge,

Just that you haven't been acting on it?

Whatever came up for you,

Let's simply place it aside,

Let's simply place it aside,

As we're going to move into the field of learning and new knowledge.

The knowledge you have not yet obtained.

Knowledge is power.

Knowledge is freedom.

And often knowledge is what empowers us to shift our relationship with money into one that feels positive and abundant and hopeful.

You are a student of life,

And you are constantly learning as well.

There is endless information out there.

This can definitely feel overwhelming at times,

Not knowing where to look or what to read,

What to try.

You are intelligent and can find what works best for you and your relationship with money.

You are already money wise from your own experience.

You have found things that don't work through trial and error.

This is how we find things that do work through trial and success.

Don't feel stuck in your position.

There are always new ways of viewing your situation and shifting your situation.

You are not powerless unless you believe yourself to be.

I want to encourage you to be a student of life with your finances,

Constantly learning and knowing that you are not alone,

You are not stuck,

And that change is always possible.

This is something you need to do on your own and in your own time.

What I want to do for you today is give you the feeling of obtaining knowledge in the field of money.

It's like when we go to the gym to get stronger.

If we've never gone to the gym before,

It feels overwhelming,

Scary even,

Or not possible.

But if we can feel those good feelings in our body before going,

Like the endorphins that we receive when exercising,

Whether through a visualization or feelingization,

It's easier then to get up and go and receive those good feelings in real time.

Let's do a little visualization and feelingization practice to help encourage you to go after the knowledge that you seek.

Even if you don't know what it is,

We can discover how you want to feel.

Close your eyes and relax your body.

Relax your mind.

Invite softness inside and outside of you.

Let's fast forward to a future potential of yourself.

This future potential is someone who is money confident.

You feel wise with your money choices.

You have knowledge on what works and what doesn't work.

You not only have knowledge,

But you have been following that knowledge for some time and applying it to your life.

Notice how you look.

How is your posture?

What is the expression on your face?

As an observer,

How does it look like you feel?

Let these feelings that you perceive to be felt within you now.

You,

The observer of this potential.

If you saw yourself looking peaceful or joyful or free,

Feel that in your body now.

It is accessible if you allow it to be.

Just like a happy memory can bring a smile to our faces,

So too can this visualization bring the feeling forward within you now.

Let the feeling rise and be felt and expanded within your body.

Wonderful.

This feeling,

This place you can get to with your money education and knowledge empowerment is possible,

And likely sooner than you think.

Move forward with optimism,

Curiosity,

And a childlike sense of wonder,

As you are,

And we all are,

Students of life.

Believe in yourself.

You can do anything.

There are always new opportunities for money to flow into your life,

And there are always opportunities to learn about how to manage your money in a way that you feel supported.

You've got this.

You are money wise.

See it.

Feel it.

Believe it.

And act on it.

Thank you for doing this practice with me today.
