Welcome into this moment.
Allowing yourself some time here to arrive.
Beginning by finding a comfortable seat,
One where you feel supported and your spine is elongated.
Beginning to take an inhale here through your nose and an exhale through your mouth.
Once more,
Taking an inhale and an exhale,
Dropping into this moment and out of what's happened before or what may happen after.
Begin to notice the points of your body that are making contact with your seat.
And I'd invite you to begin to soften your gaze.
Perhaps you gently close your eyes.
Reconnect with your breath as you inhale and slowly exhale.
Taking two more breaths here.
As we take an inhale,
Filling up our stomach or chest and slowly exhaling.
Inhaling,
Beginning to notice how our body feels.
We're still holding on to what's occurred in the yesterday,
Last week or even last year.
Noticing how that feels in our body.
Beginning with our head,
Notice any tension that may be taking up space here.
I'd invite you to begin to relax your skull.
Begin to create space between your eyebrows.
Release your jaw.
Creating a sense of expansion in your neck and your throat.
Dropping your shoulders away from your ears.
Releasing any tension in your back,
Your stomach.
Releasing any tightness in your glutes,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
Your right ankle,
Your left ankle,
The arch in your right foot,
Top of your foot,
The right big toe,
Second toe,
Your left foot,
The arch of your foot,
The top of your foot,
Your big toe,
Second toe,
Your third toe,
Your fourth toe,
Your pinky toe.
Allowing any tension that still resides here a little more time to gently release.
As you take an inhale and exhale,
Allow it to let go of the tension,
Of the grip,
Of the need to hold on.
Begin to release the grip.
At each exhale,
Allowing yourself to simply release and welcome yourself to simply just being.
Releasing the need to be someone or do something and simply be.
Allowing a sense of flow.
Allowing yourself to be carried here by the ground below you.
Can we relax just 10% more?
Can we release just 10% more?
This moment is for you.
Nothing in this moment needs to be done,
Thought about,
Planned,
Coordinated.
Just simply be here.
Simply be held here.
Take off that backpack of worries and to-dos and plans and just take it off here just for a few minutes.
Allow yourself this breath as it enters and exits.
Just be with your breath.
Gift yourself this moment to just be.
If you notice your thoughts starting to wander off into the past,
Into the future,
That's okay.
Notice it and invite it back to this moment.
As many times as you need to bring it back,
That's okay.
Allow the inhaling and exhaling to cleanse anything that no longer serves you.
Allow it to heal.
Allow it to create space.
Let go of the energy that does not serve you.
You have the power to re-create and shift your energy at any point.
You deserve that.
You deserve to feel the energy that you want.
You have the ability to create that.
As we take a deep inhale and slow exhale,
We'll begin to return back to the room we're in.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
As you slowly rotate your shoulders,
Slightly open your jaw,
And slowly exhale out.
Noticing any shift in your body.
Noticing any changes to your energy,
To the tension.
And begin to reconnect back here with your surroundings.
Noticing any sounds.
And when you're ready,
Begin to slowly open your eyes.
I invite you to bring a hand to your heart,
Taking a moment to thank yourself for gifting yourself this moment.
