Welcome to the identity shift meditation.
Whenever you feel that you are up leveling your life or you want to take your life in a new direction that aligns with your values,
This meditation will help you to create inspired and aligned actions to create your new identity.
Let's begin by sitting in a comfortable position and taking a few deep breaths to relax your body.
First,
Take a nice deep breath in,
Holding it at the top for a moment and then release.
Another nice long deep breath,
Breathing in that nice oxygen and exhale.
One more nice deep breath from your belly and another nice slow long exhale.
Feel your body starting to relax,
The stillness and the ease as the tension begins to melt away.
There's nothing for you to do and nothing to be.
Just breathe and relax.
When thoughts come,
Let them drift by like clouds in the sky.
Do not attach to them.
Focus on slowly inhaling and slowly exhaling.
Feel the stress leaving your body as you connect to a sense of serenity.
And now in this tranquil inner space,
You can see yourself in front of you.
You can see yourself going about your day.
This feels really familiar to you.
It is exactly what you are experiencing in your current reality.
Take a moment to see if there's anything that stands out to you as you watch your current days play out before you.
Are there any moments of feeling uncomfortable with how your life is playing out?
How do you feel watching your life play out as it has?
Can you name the emotions you feel?
These emotions act as a catalyst for change.
It's in the uncomfortableness that makes you want to shift and change.
In this moment of clarity,
You can see the patterns that have been playing out in your life that have kept you small and possibly unhappy.
See these images play out without judgment.
It's from this moment you want to create a new identity.
One that makes you feel happy,
Alive,
And in alignment.
You take a moment to feel into your values.
Now you see yourself living and embodying your values.
You notice what you look like.
You notice what you feel.
What you are wearing.
What you are doing.
Where you live.
How much you are earning.
How you feel.
Really feel it in every cell within your body.
You recognize the inspired actions you need to take to move yourself closer to this new identity of yourself.
Sit now for a few moments in this feeling of strength and power.
The power to change your reality.
And now gently and slowly,
Taking another nice deep breath in,
And as you exhale in your own time,
Allowing your eyes to open,
And continue to feel this sensation of grounding,
Bringing the strength and power to your outer world.
Knowing that you can use this visualization to create an identity shift within yourself whenever you feel you'd like to move more into alignment with your values.
