A beautiful way to practice Mindfulness of the Breath using a poem by Thich Nhat Hanh from his book The Heart of Buddha's Teachings. The poem is a fantastic way to experience the various stages of mindful breathing. It helped me in the early stages of my recovery to appreciate how focusing on the breath can bring subtle yet powerful changes to the body and mind.
