Hi there and welcome.
This meditation is centered around trusting your intuition.
There are so many of us who have a tough time leaning into trusting our guts.
We might think,
What if it leads me in the wrong direction?
What if I'm not hearing it right?
What if my instincts are wrong?
The thing about our intuition is that there's wisdom in what feels right.
That first instinct that arises when something is presented to us.
It doesn't mean that everything will work out perfectly with a bow on top every time if we follow our guts.
But I do believe it means that we will learn the most incredible things about ourselves when we can lean into our internal nudges and learn what our intuition has to teach us along the way.
And when we take time to listen to those internal nudges,
And what our intuition is telling us,
We open the door to experiencing the most incredible things that life has to offer.
We just have to get out of our own way and let go of stopping ourselves from trusting what is calling to us.
Let's find a comfortable place to sit for our practice together.
Close your eyes if that feels good.
Or,
If something's asking you to keep them open,
Lean into that.
Start listening to what feels right,
Even from the very start of our practice.
During this time,
We're going to connect with the centers of our intuition.
Sparking an aliveness within our bodies and energy to trust what we might find there.
If you feel comfortable,
I invite you to place a hand on your belly.
And if that doesn't feel good,
Then just place your awareness there.
This place where you might sometimes notice a pull towards a decision or a twinge if something doesn't feel right.
Notice what it feels like to connect with a space where you might feel your gut feelings at times.
Breathe deeply into this space.
As a human being,
We have a two-way communication system between our mind and our physical bodies called the gut-brain axis.
The gut contains its own network of over 100 million neurons and is often called our second brain.
It is constantly processing information and communicating to our brains.
When the body is detecting something before our logical thinking mind has a chance to reason why we're nervous or excited,
We might feel things like butterflies in our stomach.
A sinking or tightening feeling.
Or maybe a deep calmness.
Have you ever experienced any of these sensations before?
Many researchers and psychologists view intuition as embodied intelligence.
This ability of the brain and body to rapidly combine information beyond our conscious thinking awareness.
So let's continue to take a few moments to breathe down into the belly.
Feeling your belly gently move outward with every inhale.
And release back towards your spine with every exhale.
Imagine that this second brain is waking up.
As you breathe energy into the space of your gut and your gut feelings.
Say to yourself.
I appreciate the awareness of my body.
I have an embodied intelligence that is beyond just rational thinking.
And I connect with the wisdom my body feels.
I awaken my body's intuition.
I awaken my body's intuition.
I awaken my body's intuition.
Take one more deep breath down into your belly.
And now let your awareness travel up from the space of your gut to the center of your brain.
Awakening your mind.
Not the mind that overthinks and tries to come up with the perfect solutions.
But the wisdom mind.
The one that is deeper than any reasons why we should stop ourselves from trusting what feels right.
If it feels good to you,
Take your hand and gently tap your fingers in the center of your forehead,
Just above your brows.
Imagine your breath moving from your belly.
All the way up to the center of your head.
Keep breathing embodied awareness from lower down in your body.
Into your mind.
Imagine this connection between your body and mind getting stronger.
The lines of communication flowing freely from what you feel to what you think.
Imagine your brain waking up.
And as you breathe energy from your gut to your brain.
And gently tap slowly on your forehead.
Say to yourself.
I appreciate the awareness of my mind.
I have an embodied intelligence that is beyond just knee-jerk reactions.
And I connect with the wisdom my mind knows.
I awaken my mind's intuition.
I awaken my mind's intuition.
I awaken my mind's intuition.
Take one more breath,
Breathing into the connection of your gut and brain.
And if you're still lightly tapping on your forehead.
Lower your hand down to your lap.
And just breathe at your own natural rhythm for a few moments.
And now finally,
Place your hand or awareness in the center of your heart space.
Maybe gently rub the heart space,
Waking up your soul.
Breathe into your heart.
And imagine your heart's light radiating from the center of your chest.
Into your entire being.
And with the activation of your gut and brain's intuition.
Begin to invite the integration of your soul with your intuition.
Breathe into your entire being and say to yourself,
I appreciate the awareness of my soul.
I have an embodied intelligence that is beyond the boundaries I have placed on myself.
And I connect with the wisdom my soul feels.
I awaken my soul's intuition.
I awaken my soul's intuition.
I awaken my soul's intuition.
If there's something that's been trying to speak up in your life.
Pull or a feeling that you can't ignore.
Give yourself the space for your intuition to speak.
You don't have to make huge life-altering changes to start listening to the whispers that come from deep within.
Is there something that your intuition is asking you to turn towards in your life right now?
Just let yourself listen without forcing an answer.
If something came up for you.
Even if it's not fully formed yet.
Let yourself try one small thing.
That invites you closer to this internal nudge.
And if nothing felt alive for you right now.
That's okay.
Keep connecting with yourself and your intuition.
To build your relationship with it.
So that when something does arise,
Your inner eyes will be open to seeing it.
And your heart will be open to embracing it.
Trust that your internal nudges are trying to support you in some way.
Your intuition is wiser than you might give it credit for.
Start connecting more often and listening to what's there.
Take your time to open your eyes.
And move back into your day.
I hope you enjoyed your practice with me today,
And I can't wait to share another one with you again soon.
