Let's begin by taking a comfortable seat.
Find a position that is comfortable for you.
Sitting cross-legged,
On the floor,
On a cushion,
Sitting in a chair,
Lying down.
Make sure you're comfortable as this is your practice.
Once you settle in,
Close the eyes.
Let's take a deep inhale together.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Again,
Deep cleansing breath.
Inhale.
And exhale,
Release.
One last time,
Deep inhale.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Allow the breath to clear the fluctuations within the mind.
Allow awareness of the breath to bring you home to the present moment.
Now,
In your comfortable position with the eyes closed,
Aware of the breath.
We're going to listen.
Together,
We're going to feel together.
We're going to take this journey together.
This journey will be about finding our purpose,
Our Dharma,
Our true calling in this world.
If you are listening to this recording,
And you are convinced within your heart that you are already following your Dharma,
Your purpose,
Your calling,
That is an amazing thing.
Please,
Continue on your path,
And please help others along as others must have helped you along on your path.
And for anyone listening who has yet to discover their Dharma or purpose,
Or anyone who has an idea of what their Dharma is,
But maybe there's apprehension or fear,
And no action has been taken yet,
Let's do this exercise together,
This meditation together.
And for those who are sure of their Dharma,
Please also join us in this exercise,
In this meditation,
As this can only serve to reinforce your connection to your personal purpose.
Let's take one last cleansing breath together,
And we'll begin deep in now.
Exhale,
Let it go.
And now not with the ears,
But with the heart.
Internalize the following questions as markers on an illumined path,
Which lead to harmony,
Freedom,
And unity with all things.
Do not think about the answers in terms of words.
Rather let the essence of the body's natural response to the questions be the answers.
Pay attention to how these questions make you feel.
Let the feelings help you determine and confirm your purpose.
Let's begin.
Who did you help today?
Does your heart's inner calling align with your outer actions?
Is there something you have always felt called to do,
But you have not yet done?
If fear or money were not factors,
What would you do with your one precious life?
When you retire at night,
Are you satisfied with your actions of the day?
Do you struggle at work?
Do you feel as if you are working for someone else's goals,
Or dreams,
Or dharma?
Do you feel as if your personal goals,
Or dharma,
Have been abandoned?
Does your daily work include love and service to others?
Is it time to do something different in your life?
Is now a good time to do it?
If not now,
When?
Bring your awareness to the heart,
Notice what it feels.
Notice how the body feels.
See what words come to mind now.
See what answers come to mind now.
Maybe it's a vision,
Maybe it's an idea.
Maybe you just thought of someone you need to call or reach out to.
Let's take a breath together deep in now.
Exhale,
Let it go.
If something did come to you in this meditation,
Please find a piece of paper,
A pen,
A pencil,
A computer.
Write something down if you need to remember it.
I hope this was helpful.
Please feel free to comment or send a message to not just let me know,
But let everyone else know.
We do this work together.
There are two types of dharmas.
There is the sva dharma,
The personal dharma,
Your individual role or purpose,
Which affects the collective dharma.
These two are independent,
Yet interdependent.
When each of us fulfills our personal role globally,
There is order instead of chaos.
There's a natural harmony to all things.
One last breath together,
Deep inhale.
Exhale,
Let it go.
If the eyes are still closed,
Gently blink the eyes open.
Thank you for meditating with me.
Have a beautiful day.
