Releasing the Excess is a powerful guided visualization using the imagery of the ocean and the intention of your mind to release the excess your body is holding. Your body knows what to do, use this experience to give it permission to release what's ready to go.

Hi,
I'm Brenda.
As a holistic healer,

Your mind,
Body,
Soul system,
Guiding you back to your truth and empowering you to lean into the life you were designed to live.
I'm so glad you're here.
This is a guided visualization about releasing the excess.
This excess your body is holding could be excess hormones,
Such as cortisol or adrenaline.
It could be excess fat cells or excess sugar in your body.
It could be excess emotions or even excess stagnant energy.
Your body innately knows what to do.
It's simply waiting for you to give permission to let go and release the excess.
So let's prepare ourselves for this guided visualization.
Go ahead and close the door.
Make sure your spouse or your partner,
Your children,
Or even your pets will not come in and disturb this time.
If you use earbuds or headphones,
You'll bring this experience closer to you.
And then I want you to get comfortable.
And whether you choose to sit or lie down,
It's totally up to you.
Make sure you toss a blanket over you and wrap your feet up,
Getting nice and cozy.
If you choose to lie down,
Support your body with a pillow under your knees and grab an eye cover.
And lastly,
Put your phone on airplane mode and turn off any other things around you that could beep and cause a distraction.
Give yourself the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself into this guided meditation,
This guided visualization to release the excess.
Now,
If you're ready,
I want you to get comfortable and close your eyes,
Settling into this moment as you breathe in and out your nose,
Slow,
Steady breaths in and out the nose.
Allow the edges of your eyes to soften,
Your jaw to be slightly open,
And your shoulders to drop.
Your thoughts will come and go.
And if you start thinking about this or that,
Come back to your breath,
Silently repeating in on the in breath and out on the out breath.
The rhythm of your breath helps your body to release and let go of any tension.
And with this next breath,
Take a longer,
Deeper breath in and hold at the top for just a moment.
And with a longer exhale,
Feel tension dissolve as your body softens.
And do this for a few more times.
Your eyes melt,
Shoulders drop,
Letting thoughts pass by.
Right now,
These moments are for you.
Feel arising and the falling of each breath.
Notice if you need to shift or move,
Getting even more comfortable right where you are.
Coming back to repeating in on the in breath and out on the out breath.
Your breath is slow and steady.
You're feeling at ease.
And now softly focus on the area of your heart.
Now imagine seeing yourself all alone on a beach with miles and miles of white sand to both to the right of you and to the left of you.
The water in front of you is beautiful,
Clear,
Green-blue water that draws you closer.
It's warm here on the beach,
But the soft,
Gentle breeze keeps you comfortable.
Now I want you to see yourself on this beach and in your bathing suit.
As you slowly walk to the water,
Observing yourself,
Notice if this is the current version of you or is this a future version of you?
What does your suit look like?
What is the expression on your face?
What does your body shape look like?
And now I want you to observe the feelings evoked from this image of you on the beach.
Simply notice the thoughts that may be running through your mind.
Don't focus on them.
Just notice them and let them pass on by.
No judgment,
No further thought needed.
Your thoughts pass on by.
And now bring your mind back to the intention of releasing the excess just as you're about to reach the shore.
And I want you to stop for a moment.
Stop right here,
Being fully present in this version of you as you allow the water to lightly touch your toes.
And notice how warm the water is.
Your breath is slow and steady.
Now silently repeat in your mind,
I give my body permission to release the excess from every cell of my body.
And now slowly begin walking into the ocean until the water is covering your ankles.
And now stop and pause here for a moment,
Taking a deep breath in and out your nose.
Feel the warmth of the water releasing,
Cleansing and clearing everything your body is ready to let go of today,
Releasing the excess.
And when you're ready,
Begin to walk further into the water,
Maintaining the slow,
Steady breaths in and out your nose.
And once the water is above your knees,
Pause again and allow the water to cleanse every cell in your body,
Releasing the excess.
This could be excess hormones,
Excess fat,
Releasing stagnant energy that just needs to move and shift out of your body.
Whatever is ready to go,
Let the water wash it away as your body releases it.
Now take a few more steps deeper into the water until the water is to your thighs.
You're completely safe.
The water is calm and peaceful.
And now taking a few more steps until the water is up to your hips.
And now I want you to pause and stand here in the warm,
Soothing water,
Allowing your body to release the excess.
Turning your face toward the sun,
Feeling the beautiful warmth of the rays on your face,
Bringing a smile as the water cleanses and releases the excess from your hips,
Your buttocks,
Your thighs,
Behind your knees,
From your legs,
From your ankles,
And from your feet.
And now in your mind,
Repeating the word cleansing on the in-breath and repeating the word clearing on the out-breath.
Cleansing,
Clearing.
Breathing in cleansing and breathing out clearing.
Now open your eyes and walk a few more steps deeper into this blue-green water that's so warm and soothing.
Walking deeper until the water covers your shoulders and stopping here and allowing your body to release the excess from your muscles,
Your chest,
Your abdomen,
And now deeper in your body from your organs,
Your glands,
Your meridians,
Your chakras.
Allow the water to release and cleanse every cell in your body of whatever is ready to go.
Tuning into your body for a moment,
What are you feeling?
What are you noticing?
If an area comes to mind,
Focus your attention there for a moment,
Giving a little extra attention and intention to release any blocks or stagnant energy that may be hindering the clearing and cleansing process of the excess from every cell in that specific area.
Continue with slow,
Steady,
Deep breaths in and out the nose.
Breathing in cleansing and breathing out clearing.
Cleansing,
Clearing.
Breathing in cleansing and breathing out clearing.
And now if you feel safe,
Comfortable,
And protected,
Tip your head under the water.
Allow the water to clear and cleanse your scalp,
Your mind,
Your thoughts,
Your crown,
And third eye chakra,
Releasing anything that is ready to go.
Now turn your face once again to the sun,
Basking in its warmth as the water drips down from the top of your head and into the water.
Breathing in cleansing and breathing out clearing.
And now in your mind,
Silently thank your body for all that it released,
For releasing the excess.
And when you're ready,
Slowly walk back to shore.
And as you get closer,
You notice a towel has been laid out for you on the sand.
Go lay on that towel.
Make yourself comfortable.
And laying here,
Receiving the energy of the sun,
Basking in its warmth,
Feeling safe and protected,
Feeling comfortable,
Soaking up the sun until you are completely dried off.
Now focusing again back to your heart space,
The very essence of you,
Where your truths lie.
And in the privacy of your mind,
Silently ask,
What do I need to know about my body right now?
Allow the answer to rise.
No judgment.
What do I need to know about my body right now?
And now ask if there's any action that you need to take.
Feeling the warmth of the sun on your body and simply be.
Just stay with this awareness and this guidance from within as it becomes clearer until my voice returns.
And as you slowly come back to the sound of my voice,
Taking a little deeper breath in and out,
Listening from within for any guidance or direction you need to take from this experience.
And now honor your body and imagine placing a hand on your heart,
Sending love and gratitude,
Grateful for the layer of healing your body provided to you just now.
Now move your legs,
Point and flex your feet,
Rotate your ankles.
Allow the energy of awareness to travel up your legs and into your body,
Up and across your shoulders,
Down your arms and into your hands as you open and close them.
And then traveling up and into your throat,
The edges of your mouth lift up into a slight smile.
And with the next breath,
Slowly open your eyes,
Feeling alert,
Present,
Clear of mind and calm.
Welcome back.
Now,
Before you rush up and grab your phone or begin thinking about the next thing you have to do,
I invite you to simply stay right where you are for a few more minutes.
Allow this experience to fully integrate into your mind,
Body and soul.
This may look like sitting with your eyes closed and soaking in this experience for a few more minutes,
Or it may be spent journaling and getting out all the thoughts and feelings swirling in your head.
Or maybe you feel compelled to go outside and take a short walk and breathe in some fresh air.
Your body will guide you to what's right for you.
Follow its nudge.
