Brenda Sott Tomlinson,
Intuitive Energy healer and Insight Timer teacher.
Today this conversation is about our words and how our words matter.
If you've listened to my align the minds talk,
You already know the importance of aligning the conscious mind with our subconscious.
Many times the words that we talk to ourselves as well as speak into the world from our conscious mind are negative.
And that's what the subconscious hears because the subconscious is listening to you all the time.
It's listening to thoughts,
What you speak out loud,
It's listening and it's ready to obey.
So I invite you to pay attention to your words.
Are you speaking negative energy words?
For example,
Is I can't a phrase that you use in your everyday world often.
How about I never will or I never.
Or what about I always,
This always happens to me.
Just think about those words for a moment.
Those negative energy words keep you stuck.
Your subconscious holds on to them and tries to bring them true.
So just imagine and ponder if you changed a couple of words in your vocabulary,
Made them positive words,
Open to possibilities instead of being stuck in the path.
Phrases like I feel,
I receive,
I'm open to try.
I don't know how,
But I'm willing to learn.
Simply changing our words and being attentive and focused on them can begin to change what's happening in your everyday life.
There are phrases too that are attached to our chakras.
For instance,
In the root chakra and the sacral chakra,
Phrases about I feel,
I want and I sense are positive statements for those chakras for healing and balance.
For the solar plexus,
Phrases that I will,
I think and I act because our solar plexus is our take action center.
For the heart,
Phrases such as I love,
I give,
I receive bring balance and openness and healing to our heart.
For the throat chakra,
Phrases that begin with I speak,
I listen,
I express.
For our third eye chakra,
I see,
I envision,
I imagine,
Bring life balance to that third eye.
And our crown chakra,
I know,
I understand and I am are powerful statements for that chakra.
One last little bit for you.
I'm going to encourage you to look at your vocabulary.
How often do you say,
I am tired or I am angry or I am exhausted?
Knowing what we just said about the crown chakra and that I am is a powerful statement there,
I want to challenge you to change your I am statements to I feel because you are not exhaustion.
You are not angry.
You are not tired.
Those are feelings.
That's not who you are.
I am statements are to be truth about you.
I am love because I am made from love.
I am worthy just because I am.
Those are the truths that you want to absorb into your body,
Absorb into your thoughts to help begin to heal those inner child wounds that you may have.
So I challenge you to check your words.
How are you speaking about you?
What are you telling your subconscious to keep hold of and to keep protecting you?
If your words are not doing what you want out of your life,
Then change them because that your conscious mind,
That's something that you have power over and that you can change.
You can also change the beliefs that your subconscious has.
That's a topic for another day.
So I encourage you,
Friend,
Speak life.
Things such as I am whole.
I deeply love and accept myself just as I am.
I am grateful for all the goodness in my life.
No matter the circumstances you're in right now.
Find the goodness of your life right now because there is goodness even in the darkest times.
My life moves with grace and ease.
Speak life into your world.
Speak life and let your subconscious hear what you want and desire and allow it then to go to work for you,
Bringing that into your life.
Find life and joy and abundance,
Fullness and possibilities into your life.
Namaste.
