This is your core alignment meditation.
So let's get started in a comfortable seat.
And this can be on the floor with legs crossed or in a chair with your feet firmly planted on the floor.
And then go ahead and close your eyes and just start to pay attention to your breath.
Having an awareness of the expansive quality of your inhale and merging with the sweet surrender of your exhale.
You may start to notice those natural beats between the breath.
That moment when you've taken all of the breath in and you feel it shimmer at the top of the inhale.
And that moment after you've exhaled completely and you feel the breath crackle and spark at the bottom.
These beats between the breath are magic moments and I encourage you to melt into them.
Now I want you to notice your consciousness which you probably experience smack dab in the center of your skull.
And imagine that your consciousness is a little ball of light.
On your next exhale go ahead and drop that ball of consciousness all the way down your spine so that it settles in the sacred bowl of your pelvis as if your spine were an elevator shaft.
Go ahead and do that now.
And then with this little ball of light in the sacred bowl of your pelvis take an inhale and see it glow brighter burning white hot.
And as you exhale see this little ball of light cool and dim.
As you inhale that little ball of light glows white hot and as you exhale it dims and cools.
Experiencing your breath from the base of your spine.
If your mind starts to wander that's okay don't give yourself a hard time just bring your awareness back to that little ball of light.
On the inhale it glows white hot and on the exhale it dims and cools.
On your next inhale go ahead and draw that little ball of light up into the temple of your heart.
And notice that trail of light that is now connecting the sacred bowl of your pelvis to your heart center.
And we'll do the same thing here.
Feeling visualizing sensing that ball of light in the middle of your heart center.
As you inhale it burns brighter glowing white hot and as you exhale it dims and cools.
On your next inhale draw that little ball of light all the way up back into the crown in the center of your skull behind your third eye.
And notice that trail of light that connects the temple of your heart to your skull.
And as you inhale that ball of light glows white hot and as you exhale it dims and cools.
Stay with it just a little bit longer.
Now take a moment and just follow that trail of light from your skull down into the temple of your heart and from the temple of your heart down into the sacred bowl of your pelvis.
And then follow it back up again up into the heart center and then up into the skull.
This is core alignment.
This is how you can experience a felt sensation of truth not as a mental concept but as something that rings true in each of these three energy centers in your body.
This daily practice of connecting the sacred bowl of your pelvis,
The temple of your heart and your skull will help you to engage in activities,
Words and deeds that are more in alignment with your soul and to more gracefully release the people,
Places and things that no longer sing your heart's true song.
Thank you for taking the time to take care of yourself.
When you're ready you can inhale and blink your eyes open and I hope you have a beautiful night.
