Welcome to your liver and gallbladder release meditation.
In this meditation.
Through removing anger and frustration.
Through the liver and gallbladder meridians.
You will release what is blocking or restricting your movement.
To begin,
Find a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle.
Don't focus on changing anything about yourself right now.
Just arrived.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Feel the weight of your body being supported.
Soften your jaw.
Relax your shoulders.
Let your hands become heavy.
Begin to notice your breath.
You'll need to make your breath deeper.
No need to make your breath perfect.
Simply notice the inhale.
And the exhale.
With each breath,
Give yourself permission to be here now.
There's nowhere else you need to go.
There's nothing you need to accomplish.
For the next few minutes.
You're simply listening to your body.
Take one slow breath in.
And exhale completely.
In traditional Chinese medicine.
Liver,
And the gallbladder.
Are associated with emotions of anger,
Frustration,
Irritation,
And the feeling of being lost.
Today,
You're going to notice what your emotions might be communicating.
We're going to create space for movement where you may be feeling stuck.
Bring awareness to the right side of your body.
Notice the area beneath your right ribcage.
Bring awareness into your entire side body.
Your diaphragm.
Your jaw.
Your eyes.
Just notice here.
Is there one?
Pressure.
Tension.
Mostly.
Or perhaps nothing at all.
Just observe.
And ask yourself in this moment.
What am I feeling?
Allow whatever comes to come.
Now we're going to work with the sound traditionally associated with this organ system to process and release.
Anger.
Frustration.
Irritation.
And blah.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
Bring your awareness to the area beneath your right ribs.
And as you exhale,
Allow the sound to emerge.
Don't force it.
Of the sound,
Be gentle.
Allow the vibration to move through you.
Inhale.
Notice the right side of your body.
And exhale.
Allow silence.
Notice what remains.
And again,
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Welcome in stillness.
Notice your body.
What are you feeling?
Bring your mind to a situation.
Where you have felt frustrated,
Irritated.
Angry or blocked.
No need to relive it.
Just recall.
Now in your body.
What emotion is present?
Can you give it a name?
Anger.
Frustration,
Irritation.
Resent me.
Impatient.
Perhaps something completely different.
Notice where that emotion lives in your body.
Where do you feel it?
In your chest?
Your ribs.
Your stomach.
Job.
Through.
Shoulders.
Just notice.
No need to fix.
No need to explain.
No need to judge.
Just allow the sensation to exist.
Take a deep breath.
Exhale,
Shift.
And the stillness of your body.
Ask yourself.
What is this emotion trying to tell me?
As if that something needs to change.
Is that boundaries have been crossed.
Is there a need to rest?
Is there a need to speak?
Their need for movement.
Is there a need to let go?
The answer doesn't have to be perfect.
Just listen.
Breathe in.
And as you exhale.
Create space around this emotion.
You no longer have to carry it in the exact same way.
The energy moves.
It's not forced.
It's not rushed.
It's just moving.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Shh.
Ask yourself.
What would it feel like to no longer carry this around?
Inhale.
Exhale,
Shift.
Ask yourself.
What direction do I want to move in now?
Don't focus on releasing or moving or forcing.
The emotion away.
Make room for something new.
Make room for flexibility.
For growth.
For a movement.
For adaptation.
Bring your awareness back to the right side of your body.
Breathe in.
Imagine clarity entering.
Exhale,
Shift.
Imagine frustration exiting.
Inhale.
Direction.
Exhale.
Stagnation.
Inhale.
Flexibility.
Exhale.
Be just fine.
You have permission to change direction.
You have permission to grow.
You have permission to move.
Gently place your hands on the right side of your ribcage.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And exhale.
Repeat these mantras.
I am allowed to feel.
I am allowed to release.
I am allowed to move forward.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Released when it's blocking your movement.
And rest here for just a moment.
When you're ready.
Begin to notice the room around you.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Move your fingers.
Move your toes.
And slowly return.
Take the clarity you've created.
And re-enter your room.
