Words Of Affirmation (Dance Of Light And Dark)

This is the latest in a series I am producing a few times a month. The spoken word is performed by Miss Sonja Knighton. She possesses an incredibly soothing voice and a powerful spirituality. I asked her to collaborate on a series of pieces and she agreed. I hope you find her words of wisdom as much of a blessing as I do.

The darkness and the light, They are a dance, They are lovers, They are in union. The deep dark spaciousness is the womb, It is the chambers of the heart. It is the earth that receives the seed. It is the cave that we enter for the sacred journey. The dark holds all possibility. The dark holds all possibility. The dark holds all possibility. The light, The light is the beacon, The light is the call forward. The light is the summons to grow, To flourish, To unfurl, To move forward, To shine, Radiance, Brilliance, Enlightenment. And we need both the deep anchoring space of the darkness which holds the root and the wild unfurling of leaf and blossom and fruit gleaming in the sun.
